Overall...we were disappointed. The whipped feta and onion lasagna were both really good with strong and interesting flavors, and the service was lovely. However, the broccoli on my beef and broccoli was too salty to eat, and the beef, while cooked well, was flavorless. My husband's pork chop entree was more than 50% fat. He literally had to go to the bathroom at one point to spit it out. I was really excited to dine at this Michelin star restaurant, but this wasn't the experience we were hoping for.

Unfortunately, we had a pretty bad experience. Despite understanding that it is early season and the staff is probably new, they seemed completely confused about orders, timing, and overall, service was terrible. The food came out very slowly, (over 2 hrs) even though it was an early lunch and 2/3rds of the tables were empty. One of our tickets got lost, which meant we all got our food at different times, some were very undercooked because they were rushing. We were still waiting for our last plate, and after over 15 minutes of waiting, we had to get up to find a waiter to help us. No one checked on us or asked how our food was, and after everything, they brought the check and never apologized for the mix-up. As locals, there are much better restaurants to spend your money at and better value. We sadly will not be going back.

The food was amazing. But the vibe and service was mid considering it’s a Michelin star restaurant. I’m sure there are better overall restaurants in Vail.

Over and over again the food and experience at Sweet Basil is amazing. The winter menu is really great. We enjoyed every bite. The meat was cooked perfectly. The desserts made us want to lick the plate. Our server was awesome and brought joy to our meal.

Sweet Basil has been a favorite for many years. The food is creative and delicious. Staff makes it a welcoming experience and the pace of the meal is perfect.

Everything was excellent. Onion Soup lasagna was insanely good. Everyone was friendly and very nice but everything was slow.

Truly amazing. Everything on the menu is amazing and very well curated. My personal favorite is the Roman gnocchi with octopus. Genuinely can’t ever go wrong going here
