Great food and service will return
Perfect patio lunch - Ethan and Aaron took great care of us. Beet and arugula salad with fried oysters, crab chowder, gumbo, and blackened redfish with crawfish were wonderful! Never disappointed here!
Out of town friends
Turn the music down! I regret bringing the business group here because it is just too noisy of a place to have a meaningful discussion. Food and service were good.
Flounder too salty. Everyone chatting bouncing off ceiling and walls. Coffee mediocre. Spinach dip, so little spinach. Salsa watery. Shame on Superior Grill. Sam’s has a great Salsa. Cut back on salt to flavor. Buy local coffee: this is NOLA (CDM).
Love Superior seafood. I was craving red meat last night and ordered the strip steak, which was just ok. Everyone else had seafood and their dishes were outstanding. I love the ambience at Superior Seafood.
We had a fantastic evening celebrating my husband's birthday. We were a party of 4 and the service and food was all above par! Daniel was a perfect delight and helped make our experience priceless!
Food was amazing! Our server, Taylor was excellent.
great spot for your new orleans cuisine very tasty and chill
Be poor service from our waiter. Cold fries with hot sandwich. Dessert ordered but never delivered. Waiter was busy with a big party and completely ignored our table.we are not going back albeit the oysters were great, but who can mess up fresh oysters?
Fantastic shrimp but dining room was exceptionally loud.
Food was amazing- highly recommend the fried alligator appetizer! Danielle was our server and she was friendly and attentive. It was very busy and she never looked flustered and always had a smile on her face. Overall it was a great experience!!
Have been to Superior Seafood before for brunch but this time it was different -- restaurant was moderately busy but not many in our area. Service was not great. Server only came to table 4 or 5 times during our 2.5 hr brunch and it took 1 hr for her to get our food order. Drinks were great as always. Food just okay.
Great service, food! Very satisfied
Service was slow and drinks were only half full.
Food was good as usual.
With NOLa having Covid Vaccine card or 72 hour requirement your options are limited if you are from out of town. We called ahead and reserved an outdoor table. Our meal was delicious, our server was great and attentive even though they were very busy. Will defiantly visit again when back in NOLA. The locals are very lucky to have such a great spot off the trolley line to enjoy French inspired cuisine
This second visit was disappointing. The server seemed too busy to care.
The food was terrible
Exception service, authentic cuisine, and reasonable prices make this an ideal go to for tourists and locals alike.
They have jacked up their oyster prices 100% since last year. 50 cent oysters used to be amazing, then went to 75 cents, now a dollar during happy hour. Now just a meh deal. Used to go once a week, now we’ll go once every couple of months. Would rather go to Pascals for the same price
Very delicous! And well-priced. Beautiful ambiance.
Delicious food & drinks & great service!
Went for breakfast. The waitress was inattentive, took a whole to return the table to check after breakfast was brought to the table. My husband needed a few condiments. By the time she returned, the breakfast was cold and inevitable.
However, It is worth driving to St. Charles to taste their charbroiled oysters. I think it is still number 1.
Our waitress was really on top of her game! The food was good too it was an enjoyable evening.
Nice ambience, the service was excellent, very much enjoyed my first frozen mojito, the menu was very nice for a new orleans seafood restaurant, the food was good.
Our waitress, Rowan was the best in many ways. Is it possible to make reservations easier?

Everything about our visit was outstanding! Ambiance, wine list, food, and service. Our fantastic server, Taylor, gave us excellent advice on choosing our entrees (tip: Grilled Red Snapper over Superior Grits) and we all went wild for the Fried Alligator appetizer! The Crème Brûlée dessert is not to be missed!
Food was delicious, service was exceptional. Atmosphere was great! Would definitely recommend.
Meeting daughter and new boyfriend for first time. Drinks were great. Raw oysters good. Grouper good. Everything else (escargot, grilled oysters, filet mignon and sides were sub par. The Gumbo (terrible) and bbq shrimp (mushy and awful sweet sauce) were just awful. We ate it all because it was late and we were starving. Alligator bites were literally the only “tasty” item and you only got four decent sized pieces and a bunch of scraps and scrimps of fried dough. Would never recommend or eat there again. Such a disappointment. Also so loud we could not even have any sort of conversation. Martinis were good and service was good.
As always great oysters both fresh and charbroiled
The best oysters I ever had. Amazing appetizers, especially the crawfish mac & cheese. Outstanding service. Unfortunately the meal ended on a disappointing note. We heard they have great profiteroles, but it was just regular store-bought ice cream. My husband’s even had a chunk of ice in it, but the pastry was old and tasteless, like they made it days ago. But definitely go because everything else was amazing. A beautiful place, and I will be dreaming about those sweet, juicy raw oysters.
Normally very fast and very good, today’s service was painfully slow and the food was sub-par, soup was cold. A very disappointing meal to say the least, all blamed on a “large party” that we never observed in the building.
Great seafood- salmon and blackened grouper cooked perfectly. Gumbo and chargrilled oyster appetizers. Book now, you won't regret it
We were there to celebrate a milestone birthday. The restaurant was packed to capacity but you would have never known. We received excellent service. Food was served timely and tasted exceptional. I’ve recommended this restaurant to other before and will continue to do so. Out of so many places in New Orleans to eat, this is one that stands out.
Food and drinks were delicious. Our waiter was the best. Noise level was way too loud- so much so that we couldn’t hear well at our table of 5.
Wonderful food and service. We had a fantastic time during our last visit. Not only food was fantastic, but the service was outstanding.
perfect every time - great service amazing food just a wonderful spot!
I can possibly review this restaurant every time we go here! We go at least once a week! It is always consistent and alway delicious! Thanks guys!! We love y’all!!! See ya next week!!! All Best, Holly
Bread pudding dessert was great. Gumbo and blackened shrimp appetizer were above average. Very crowded at 9:30 on a Thursday night so slow but nice service.
Great, fresh seafood and fun atmosphere! Excellent service!
