Easy to locate on the trolley line, food was outstanding and ambiance great.
Happy hour is a bargain on oysters but the frozen just OK. Food was great, but ambiance probably better later than HH. Would definitely go again.
Server was very polite and great at her job. Had a view of St. Charles. Oysters were amazing Highly recommend
The food deserves more then five stars for the crawfish cornbread alone. You are foolish if you don’t try it.
Noises but good food and great service
Love the place and the food and the service, But, the noise was deafening. If we weren’t able to relocate to the out door patio we would have had to leave
Oyster happy hour and dinner salads with family
Food was great! Ambiance was spectacular! Our server was just sort of meh. But the other things made up for it.
I was visiting from out of town. We went to superior for our last dinner experience and everyone was so glad we did. The server Jay was excellent very informative and helped us choose really good selections. When I return superior is definitely on the list.
Jay our server was excellent and gave great recommendations and details about food on menu. I will definitely be back.
Love their food
This restaurant has a phenomenal staff with delicious consistent food. This time I had the salmon lafitte. It was perfectly cooked a delicious, and I would definitely have it again!
Lovely environment and courteous staff. The food is good, maybe a little overpriced, but so is everything else right now.
Sierra was amazing and took great care of us. She made our date night perfect! The oysters were so good. I got the scallop and my fiancé got the gulf fish. Highly recommended
The food was very delicious especially the chargrilled oysters. The waitress was attentive and nice. My seating was right next to the St Charles street line. Great dinner experience. Can’t wait to go back.
Wonderful Sunday brunch with live jazz music! Highly recommended!
Food was very good. Service a little slow, but it was very busy.
Our server, Payton, was great! Loved the piano music too!
John Michael and his staff were extremely helpful making it a great experience for my our of town guests.
Great food service and drinks! Happy hour was a bonus!
Our party of four enjoyed the food and drinks. But the NOISE! The acoustics are horrible. The"piano man" that people were literally screaming over to be heard. And it got louder and louder to the point where our ears hurt. Hire an experienced acoustical expert and follow their advice. Problem solved.
Great food. Very good service. Tad loud, but would not influence future trips.
Everything was great!
We waited over 45 minutes for the raw oysters. The waiter was apologetic but it was just too long. Then another long wait for main courses. This was on a Wednesday night.
Great happy hour for oysters and champagne/slushie rose!
Food took over an hour. Oysters came after our meal. Service was subpar. Wouldn’t recommend
Very very loud atmosphere, hard to hear person in front of me, but besides that food was very very good!
Service and food was outstanding. Our server probably could sell us anything on the menu with his descriptive words and great service. We will definitely be back.
The reservation was for 1:15 but we had to wait about 10 more minutes. The server was prompt and took very good care of us. He had to continually come to us to apologize because the kitchen was taking so long on our food. In all, we waited about an hour for our main course. It was well worth the wait but some folks may not care how tasty it is but more about waiting. We WILL be back!
S-L-O-W. 1pm on Monday (Memorial Day). The place was moderately busy - not slammed. Waited 10 minutes for our table, waited 15 minutes for our waitress to take a drink order and another 15 for our simple drinks - draft beer and a frozen cocktail out of a tap - no fancy mixology involved. We had just stood up to leave when our drinks came. So we've been in the restaurant for over 30 minutes and we're just getting drinks served. We ordered a half dozen char grilled oysters as an app. I ordered a sandwich and my wife ordered a salad with steak on it *with the change that NO tomatoes or onions come on it*. We waited about another 30 minutes and everything came at the same time. And - my wife's salad had a skewer of steak tips on top - with tomatoes and onions on the skewer between the pieces of steak. She was starving so she ate the oyster entree while her salad was re-made. My food was acceptably warm, but not what I would call hot. If we had shared the oysters, as we planned, my food would have been colder than it should be by the time I got to it. Eventually, her salad came and yes, it was re-made, at least the steak skewer was (not sure if it was the same greens, but that would be ok). But it took another 20 minutes to do that. Obvioulsy the steak wasn't put to the front of the line. They did take her salad off the tab. I don't mind leisurely dining and if you keep refiling my drink I can be amused even if the service is slow. But this was ridiculous, an hour and a half for a relatively simple order?? And it wasnlt just us, a table of 6 or so behind us had the same problems. This was the 2nd chance for Superior Grill. We had eaten there a couple years ago (pre-COVID) and the service was about the same. The excuse that day was the system was down and everything was done manually. I couldn't tell the difference between that visit and this one.
We made a reservation for 6 people at 9:30pm(earliest available) we didn’t leave until 12am. One of the people in our group didn’t get her entree until 11:45pm. 5 of us got ours at 11:30pm so she had to watch us eat our meal while she waited. The food tasted different from the first time we visited which was two days prior. It was pretty disappointing.
Great spot for some delicious seafood away from the French Quarter and in a beautiful part of town.
Sazeracs were incredible, the chargrilled oysters were amazing, and the entrees were so good I was dreaming about the perfect consistency of my grits as I slept that evening.
We went on memorial day weekend and it was busy- so be sure to get a reservation in advance or be willing to wait, but either way it was well worth it
We were seated on time. Our waitress did not appear for 15 minutes. It took another 15 minutes to receive our wine. Another 15 minutes to receive our appetizer. Our entree’s arrived 30 minutes later. It was obvious the staff and kitchen was overwhelmed. The food was good but we will not be coming back.
Came to New Orleans to celebrate Memorial Day and superior seafood was recommend by a friend and the did nothing disappoint. Food was on point and atmosphere was really great👍🏾
Food was good Three Shrimp on the Shrimp Brochette Was disappointing. If you need to raise the price but three shrimp is just not enough.
Excellent! Food was amazing
Nice meal and great atmosphere. Arrived early, but still had to wait for our table at the reserved time. Meal was very good and service was good also. Will be back.
Always a consistent and wonderful experience.
