    My children, husband, and I ate at the Plainfield Stone Creek at lunch today. This us the new restaurant as it has moved from another location in Perry Crossing. The new restaurant is much larger and has a more open field. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. Our ice teas were brought out as we waited for our children to arrive. Meals were 1 Cheeseburger with white cheddar and parm fries, 1 wedge salad with salmon tartine, and 2 French onion soups and chicken salad. Plates were cleaned, so that says alot about the food. 2 of us had creme Brule, 1 yuzu cheesecake, and one peanut butter pie comprised dessert for the table. The food was all delicious, service was prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend Stone Creek at Perry Crossings.

    Enjoyed a birthday lunch with family. I was hoping there was a birthday dessert, but nothing was brought to the table, even though I made the reservation with "birthday" identified. Otherwise, a nice lunch

    This was our first time dining at the restaurant in their new location and I was impressed, it is beautiful. The food and service is still outstanding and the parking is much improved. I think we will be coming more!

    I mentioned it was our anniversary, but nothing said during our dinner. food came out in weird intervals. with a reservation we were sat in the bar area and seemed to be forgotten about several times. i paid $180 for 2 steaks I could have made at home. it was a very bad representation of this restaurant. we went for the soft opening and the service wasnt great, and unfortunately it just did nit get better.

    We dined with friends at the new Plainfield location of Stonecreek on a Sunday evening . We have dined at Stonecreek many times over the years and always enjoyed our visits. This time was different. The entire staff seemed new…we did not see any of the usual friendly faces of long time staff. The food has greatly increased in price, and the menu seemed to have been reduced. First, it took a long time for our food to come out after ordering. My husband ordered the 6 ounce filet mignon cooked medium. It arrived cold and red inside…more rare than medium although my steak was fine. Both of our garlic mashed potatoes were very lumpy with big chunks of potatoes not mashed. Our friends both ordered shrimp scampi, and both said it tasted a little different from what they were used to. They both only ate a portion or it and asked for a to go box. I don’t know if our server was tired or just didn't want to be there, but she was not very friendly or attentive. Overall the experience at this new location was sub par in comparison to all of our past experiences. I will dine again at Stonecreek because we love having a nice local restaurant here. I am truly hoping this evening was more of an exception and not the new normal.

    Love the new site. It is just beautiful. Our food was fantastic, once again. My filet medallions were cooked perfectly and my lobster risotto was perfect. My husband had the crab cakes and were fantastic but the sauce had too many red peppers.

    Enjoyed the food, the company, and the tentative service. As a party of two, on a first date, we were awkwardly set at a very large table set for 5. Luckily, my date handled it with ease but it just seemed weird.

    Service was outstanding. 4 meals on early bird menu. (2) Chicken / w Mushrooms sauce and Fried shrimp great. Meat loaf was pretty dry. If by design to be dry then it just was wrong thing ordered. If not try too moisten more.

    Excellent renovation in the new location. Very nice atmosphere. Do the same to the Claddaugh on 96th Street in the Carmel area. Would love to have a Stone Creek in that area. Great service for our meal.

    Very nice restaurant! Love the new location. Alexis (our server) was phenomenal! Carrie (manager on duty) was great too …,very helpful and engaging. Food is still spectacular. Mike Cunningham has a great thing going here. 🙂

    We frequently dine at Stone Creek in Plainfield and we're never disappointed. The food and service are always excellent. If you want to have a wonderful dining experience, go to Stone Creek. Their new location is easier to find parking and since it's all on one level, it's more convenient for diners and staff.

    Made a reservation, however we had a long wait as the Hostess had problems and must of lost our reservation. They did comp an appetizer. The server Geri was great and did her best to make the dining experience good. The food and bar items in delivery were out of sync. The food was not steaming hot, might of been sitting for a bit, however very tasty.

    Service was very good and fast she was very knowledgeable on the foods listed on the menu. Food was very good steaks were cooked the way they were ordered. Appetizers were also good. Shrimp cocktail and calamari ( first time trying it) was recommended by our waitress overall it was a very good experience.

    Ordered from the devour menu. Salad was crisp and fresh. Filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes was magnificent. Excellent service and atmosphere.

    The new location was very comfortable and easier to access. The hosts were very disorganized. We had made reservations, and it was as if the hosts did not even review what was going to happen. Reservations are not to just to request a table at a certain time, but also to allow a restaurant to prepare for the day. Having wait staff and the tables ready to accommodate their guests. The food and service were good.

    The new area is more open and welcoming than the previous location. One of our steaks and the table next to us was undercooked - ordered well done and the came back more medium well. But they quickly refired the steak (although everyone else was done by the time it came back), and it was to the level it should be at that time. We did have dessert, which was great, so you may have to try the peanut butter pie!!

    The losss of Mediterranean vinaigrette results is a decline in quality of fine dining, resulting in a pedestrian salad experience. It also appears that the Cher is practicing portion control. The wine was excellent.
