Steakhouse French Fries
One of the plates was a bit cold.
Due to the weather, we were only one of a few couples in the restaurant, which was great for us. Service was great, food was delicious, and it was a great atmosphere. Will definitely return!
Good food and excellent service. Steak was perfectly cooked with beautiful presentation.
We dined here for our 14 yr wedding anniversary with our 2 kids. They sat us at a table where one side of the booth was in direct sunlight so my husband and son couldn’t see. They wouldn’t move us to another table even though all of the other tables around us were empty. There was no kids menu. I got one of the most expensive items on the menu and my meal was the only dish that didn’t come with a side, I had to order it separate and pay more!
Our waitress asked us if we would like some bread and butter while we waited for our meals, not mentioning we would be charged for it.
It was very loud and noisy as well.
We won’t be dining there again, and I will not recommend
My husband and I wanted to go out to eat somewhere nice for our 1 year anniversary of being married and let me tell you, we were more than satisfied. The establishment is located in a beautiful neighborhood and radiates elegance without the exclusive energy. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess and quickly seated. Our gracious server was incredibly nice and informative since it was our first time dining there. He consistently made sure we were doing well with our drinks and appetizers. Once our dinner was brought out to us, we truly got to experience some of the best steak and vegetables we've ever had to eat. Our server asked if we would be interested in dessert and was generous enough to offer us a complimentary creme brulee for our anniversary. We were so pleased with our experience and we will definitely be dining there again for future celebrations and events!
Service and food were incredible. Perfectly cooked steak. A really wonderful experience.
Great experience. Food was interesting, tasty and well prepared. The Tuna was exquisite with a spicy ginger wasabi sauce or so I think. A little laps in service but very friendly and cordial.
Outstanding Business Dinner for 4 people over a webex.
The restaurant, food and service were spectacular. The Ahi Sushi appetizer is amazing. I will return with friends since I dined alone this time. Thank you.
Service was wonderful and our server had everything memorized.
Food was amazing, staff was friendly. A little pricey but seemed worth it. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try.
We went here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Nick and the other staff made sure our visit was great! We definitely recommend the Steakhouse at Flying Horse!!
Relaxing breathing scenery..
Our server Nickolaus C was extremely friendly.
We sat outside and enjoyed the great majestic views.
The food was simply delicious.
The food is just fantastic!! We will be going back!
Our waitress, Star, was exceptional! Food was great and the place was beautiful!
Had another wonderful lunch here. The patio seating overlooking the golf course with the mountains in the background is hard to beat. We have dined here several times now and the staff are always friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food is excellent as well and the have options for GF. We just really enjoy this place and have had nothing but great experiences every time!
We went to Flying Horse for our anniversary, and it was gorgeous. The seething is phenomenal, and we sat outside, with a view of the mountains, the Air Force Academy, and the golf course. The food was prepared perfectly, and was delicious. I would highly recommend.
This is a wonderful restaurant as part of a membership club. The prices are on the higher side, but for the area it fits. The ambiance was perfect. Privileged, but not stuffy.
The meal was absolutely amazing & they offered to set up a dessert area for us outside after dinner to enjoy the fire.
The only negative was the loss of our server when he became occupied by another guest (presumably a member). They did a great job of having others step in to assist with us while he was gone, but it was noted.
I would recommend this restaurant to others. Their menu is set up as an al a cart, so you have the option to try several side dishes & they’re shareable.
The food was excellent, but service was inconsistant-- possibly due to COVID protocols. Had to ask to have plates removed, utensils changed out, etc.
The food was absolutely delicious! Great ambiance and beautiful view of the golf course. Our waiter, Trevor, was awesome!
Had a great waiter, Ray, very polite and helpful. Meal was what we expected and a lot for us so we had left overs. They even comped us a great desert for our anniversary!
One of our favorite dining places in Colorado Springs did not disappoint despite the ongoing pandemic. They are truly on top of spacing and protection of guests dining in their establishment. The service as usual was impeccable, the food delicious, and the view and ambiance outstanding. Tonight we both had the seafood choices off the main menu. My husband had the Halibuts served atop a cucumber salad. I had the Salmon Oscar. Both were excellent. Before the main course my husband had the shrimp cocktail and I opted for the Caprese salad. Generous portions and delicious too. We also had cocktails before dinner I tried the Mile High Manhattan and my husband had the regular Manhattan. I preferred mine but his was good too. We will be back. No special occasion this time just looking for a good meal. Highly recommend.
amazing views, awesome service. Food was spot on.
Food was great, view was spectacular! Otherwise we had excellent service, it was quiet, easy to get to, gorgeous, food was tasty. Unfortunately we both got sick from something... before we left the venue but we’ll after eatjng. We are unsure what (potato Au gratin?) but we were there for 2-3 hours and for me it was near immediate.
Great. Breakfast was delicious!! Our server was friendly and polite.
When we scheduled the reservations we set it up for happy hour in the lounge area. They seated us in the main dinner area where happy hour is not available. The open table reservations showed my interest or whatever was for happy hour. Instead of offering to move us to the lounge or offering to honor the happy hour prices, they said "next time you can sit in the lounge area" for happy hour. What would Southwest airlines or or Ritz do in this situation?? This was for our anniversary. The food is good, but pricey, and not that great for the price. Given both of these I would probably not go back.
Fantastic setting. Wonderful food. Great service!
Took my daughter here for her birthday. She never been here and I have a couple of time. I wanted to go somewhere special for her. We both ordered steaks plus she ordered lobster on the side. Our steak came out perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and really nice. The host sat us by the window which I requested. when making the reservation. The waiter made the night special for her.
Service was quick and cheerful, menus were explained and recommended selections were offered. Portions were adequate. Moderate seasoned cooked to perfection
We truly enjoyed our meal. The steaks were absolutely fabulous. All the recommendations from the server were spot on.
I took my wife there for her birthday dinner. The food tasted really good and the waitress had great suggestions for us. Best part of all was they gave us a creme brûlée for birthday desert for free!
Excellent on all levels. Rib eye was perfect and service was incredible.
Great location, got a window table on a quiet evening. The wagyu strip was outstanding, and everything else we ordered was excellent. Our waiter was exceptional, as well. Highly recommended.
Anniversary dinner was great. Good recommendations, good food and service and drinks.
Had a very nice Sunday lunch here recently with my family. It is a beautiful restaurant with very nice decor. Our server, Laura, was excellent! Attentive, but not bothersome. She was very helpful and accommodating to the dietary issues family members have. The food arrived in a timely manner and was prepared well and presented nicely. Everything was excellent. The herb and lemon infused butter was a particularly nice touch! My family really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
It was okay. But, due to the establishment being mainly for residents of Flying Horse, we seemed in welcome. Staff treated us as if we shouldn’t have been there.
Reservation for 11:30am, host said he wouldn’t have a table ready for us for another 30 minutes. Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender, Trevor, did not acknowledge us for 5 minutes. When he finally did, he asked if we would like something to drink, but as we had no menus we were not ready to order. We asked for a menu and if he had any cocktail recommendations. His response was extremely condescending. The food was less than satisfying, service remained condescending.
Overall quite good. Was disappointed that the staple wedge salad was messed with too much. On the bright side, the 100yrs of Port flight was terrific.
Pretty expensive but ambiance, food and service were excellent. We made Rez but didn’t love our table and they didn’t recognize our event.
Ordered the 8oz filet mignon with scallops and a loaded potato to share. There was nothing special about the steak and the scallops where really salty, the loaded potato was ok. Had better food from restaurants like Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the price.
