State Social House
Christie & alex lived up to how they always do: amazing! Thanks so much for a great night
drinks are strong perfect spot to go grab n go
The ad does not state they close the kitchen at an earlier time than their closing time. Was disappointed I could only order snack food. I would have never made reservations there if their ad was truthful in disclosing this fact.
Great service! The taste great and can easily pair with anything on the menu.
We made a reservation for 9:45, we arrived and were seated, after 10 minutes of waiting our server came over to tell us the kitchen was closed. There was nothing on their website about the kitchen closing time, nor did the host tell us that when we were sat. I understand that things are ever changing with COVID, but please inform people about times when we make a reservation. We are extremely disappointed we couldn’t eat last night.
Monday Night Football!!
Cool spot. They had all the games on including baseball. Great Drink & Wine Menu
While I loved the food and sports bar vibe, there were times where they forgot to bring utensils, napkins, and waters and we had to request it a few times. Will definitely return!
Service here is always amazing. Thank you.
Alex is awesome! Great energy & makes the atmosphere even more fun. Heidi the hostess is very accommodating to requests & is super nice! Always a good time, food, & drinks
This was an awful experience. We did not even end up staying because we didn’t have a server come up to us for half an hour and the server went up immediately to a bigger party who had been sad after us very disappointing.
There were people smoking took away from our experience
Great for happy hour drinks but the food is awful! Avoid the overpriced and half portion mediocre food they pump and just get 1/2 off drinks for happy hour.
Great service. Jasmine is always exceptional.
Service was amazing here! Drinks were tasty too. Food was just typical bar food.
Management was rude and horrible. Very disappointed with that the way the manger treated and disrespected me and my friend is we were dinning in the restaurant. I’ve come to this restaurant before and have never experienced such horrible service. I will not be back.
Always friendly, great food and better bottomless mimosas. Perfect spot for Sunday-Funday
Close to the Roxy Theater. It was a Saturday night but it wasn’t too crowded. It must have been too early for Hollywood - we were there from about 8-10 pm.
it was a pleasure coming for the first time to this venue and watching my friend performing.
Very tasty food, almost like an Engliah pub :-) *
Came in from Chicago and needed a place to watch the Bears game. Great service. Manager Chad was a great guy. Will come back next time in Chicago.
Service was slow. Grilled Ham and Cheese and tator tots were good.
Great ambiance, great food and great service.
very casual ,good vibes and ambiance, music was great and servers as well. The only thing I ‘d like to point put is the long wait for the order albeit our server apologized for delay.
Great experience overlooking sunset!
Great burger and brew!
We were not expected such great choices and food at a brew pub-like restaurant. We had calamari and brussel sprouts for our appetizers- the brussel sprouts had cranberries, feta, balsamic vinegar and carmelized onions- yum! The calamari was tender with aioli. But the pasta pomodoro was probably the best I've ever had-Wow!
The main issue was that the pizza I got was gross and expensive. The fries were good.
Hostess didn’t look up when we first arrived. She proceeded to count a stack of money and when she was done she looked up. By that time a second hostess had arrived and greeted us. We turned our attention to her and she was accommodating. Later during the meal, that same rude hostess was eating a plate of sliders at the stand and playing on her cell phone.
The eggs Benedict was simply two hard boiled eggs placed on the croissant with two tiny slices of avocado flanking the egg. At least mash up the avocado? The potatoes were cold on the dish.
The Sunday football games were on with volume too loud.
Smelled of stale cigarettes.
Probably the only restaurant that still puts straws in ice water. And probably the only restaurant in LA that uses straws at all.
Waitress was sweet and did a great job.
Menu on open table doesn’t match the actual menu. Some items were the same, and even those had significant price differences (three more dollars for the eggs Benedict on the actual
Menu vs open table menu)
Don’t go here. Probably worst brunch in LA.
Overall don’t recommend this place.
The waitresses were very UNFRIENDLY! I never go back and will not recomnend!
Great place to spend catching up with friends.
Total whim. Found this restaurant on Google. The outdoor seating was fun. My wife and I shared the Bacon and Egg Cheeseburger. As good as it sounds, delicious. We also ordered the brussel sprouts. I wouldn't recommend the brussel sprouts. They were over charred and over cooked so they were mushy :( . Otherwise, the location is great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great.
More of a bar then a sit down restaurant. Not what I was looking for. The food was fine.
Came for brunch which ends at 3p. Has unlimited mimosas, food was ok, and service was cool. Great location for people watching on Sunset Blvd. and has TVs for sport lovers.
fun place to gather. Brunch menu is varied and outstanding portions and quality. Server Whitney was "on her game". Appreciate SSH and will return.
Great place. Lots of TVs for sports, fast service, good cigar lounge separate from other areas. Food was very good, good mix of people. Enjoyed watching the Finals here.
After sitting for 15 minutes in a place that was dead with no service to our table, we left. Also, a plate of chicken with no sides was $21, and to add potatoes made it around $30. Not paying $30 for a place who offers no reasonable service. And there was no toilet paper in the bathroom.
Best childhood friend visiting in from NYC! Great service and people!
This was a great place to have my birthday! There was a lot of space to mingle, the drinks were tasty, and the bartenders were great.
Service was fast and friendly, and they willingly did separate checks for our very large group of people. It was a lot of fun!
