The long, long, long wait between our soup and main course was close to an hour. Unbelievable. When my scallops arrived, they were delicious. Sadly, the accompanying butternut squash was as hard as a rock. Ugh. They did comp us our drinks and our side dish, so that was thoughtful. The manager explained that the kitchen serves room service requests, lounge requests, and restaurant orders, making things late. I told them we had never had this problem in the past. Fix the kitchen.

We enjoy lunch at State Fare. The patio area has great views and our Yorkie is delightfully welcomed. Food was excellent, service professional and friendly. Always a delight.

It was only the second night of their new menu, so I’ll give them some slack. It was hard to find anything on the menu to entice us. My $30 crab cake appetizer was so over salted as to be almost inedible. The Ceasar Salad was just plain weird. Served with about 8 plain hard boiled eggs, just cut in half and placed around the rim. Huh? Could not taste any dressing at all on whole Romain leaves and one limp anchovy. My husband ordered $60 tenderloin it came cold Severed overcooked, dry and absolutely nothing else on his plate. It’s a shame the food doesn’t measure up, because the outdoor setting is amazingly beautiful and the staff is great.

SFB&K is one of our go-to favourite restaurant and generally hang out for us in the desert. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to create the best experiences. Thanks to Alan for the many times he was our server and super all around guy! We were celebrating our our anniversary on Saturday and everyone recognized us and wished us Happy Anniversary and they surprised us with a delicious apple cobbler desert. Something new on the menu and you should try it! Was better than any apple cobbler I’ve ever had - and it’s fall so relevant. Thank you SFB&K team!!! We will be back again very soon!

views are incredible/service, not so much/repeatedly had to ask where cocktails were, for plates to be cleared, etc./unclear who are server was: we sort of had three/confusing and disappointing/also... yes, this is the Ritz, but $20 for an Aperol Spritz? that's $25 per drink with tax and gratuity/ouch/if this was NYCity, okay, but it's not/went here 3 times in the past week and each time FREEZING when we sat indoors, as if it were still August in Rancho Mirage and it was 115 degrees/mentioned to staff and they weren't enthusiastic about addressing/the food was GREAT, which makes these other items, all so fixable, sort of more disappointing/sigh

This place has incredible service and delicious food. Was not expecting this for a restaurant inside a hotel so 10/10. Staff makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. First restaurant of our honeymoon and the attendant gave us complimentary champagne which I thought was very sweet and thoughtful. Thank you for making us feel special!

Waiter Jason was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Very limited menu didn't match what was posted online. Two people decided to share two entrees so we asked to have it split before being served. Most restaurants don't charge $5 as they did so lesson learned. Food and service good but pricey for what we got. Much better restaurant options in Palm Springs that don't have a limited food selection.

Once again, an exceptional experience at every level. Tomas is an outstanding and personable server. He is very focused on each persons experience and joy. He remembered us from our last visit a month ago. We tried the Granny Smith salad and Caesar salad this time. Both were presented beautifully, were the right size, and were fresh and seasonal. Also this time we tried the petrale sole and repeated the salmon. Again, just right. The real star of this dinner was the panna cotta. Perfection. The crowd is urbane and of all ages, but relaxed and truly enjoying being there. There was a nice and convivial buzz in the bar while the dining room was supportive of a conversation without yelling thanks to the generous spacing of tables. We will definitely be back to this beautiful and caring restaurant.

Together have a limited menu with very average food. Service was pretty bad and did not justify the expense of the place. It’s nice in there but not pretty, not at all like any other Ritz I have been to. There was much noise from the kitchen and the food delivery people were awkward and had no idea where the food went which you expect with good service. They didn’t deliver everyone’s entire order and we had to ask for the remaining food twice. The ceviche appetizer is really bad compared to the ceviche I have had other places. We won’t go back. It felt like we were sitting in an empty barn. It was lunch and there was only one other table occupied. I know why. Wish I had been warned.

For a restaurant at a Ritz-Carlton, I expected the food to be much better but it was very mediocre except for dessert. The crispy spicy shrimp, the burger, and the veggie panini all lacked a tastiness which was very disappointing. If I was the chef, I would get to work on what isn't right in the kitchen.
