Hudson Valley Restaurants

Nice casual atmosphere. Friendly service, though seemed only one person available for both bar and tables. Food was fine—it was a Tuesday so limited menu. Lobster roll was delicious, Philly steak and cheese was good but a bit meager given the price of a sandwich. Chicken wings were tasty. But very nice to watch the Hudson roll by. We will be back for the ambience and unique location.

I try to dine here often as I’ve always had great meals. Once again, they did not disappoint! It was surprisingly crowded for a Tuesday night, so the service was a little slower than usual, but other than that it was a great experience all around.

I had the skirt steak which was perfectly cooked. They let me substitute potatoes for more salad and my dinner was perfect. Beautiful old stone house, with fire places in every room. Because weather was good we ate on the patio. A lovely evening.
