Cellaio Steak By Scott Conant - Resorts World Catskills
My hubby and I celebrated Valentines Day one day early. What a treat this meal was. Pricey but worth every penny! The steaks were like butter, shrimp cocktail was huge, and the baked potato could feed an army. After 44 years of marriage and 45 Valentines together we deserved this wonderful meal. The gelato was delicious and the wait staff was friendly and wonderful. We’re looking forward to our next visit.
My family and I have eaten at Cellaio on three occasions. Every single item we have tasted has been exceptional. I've never enjoyed a meal more. The atmosphere its relaxing and the wait staff always pleasant.
I’ve had much better steaks at comparable steak house (Ruth’s Chris, Peter Luger).
Menu too limited.
Potato s where cold! My steak was hard to chew! Won’t be going back- it’s not worth the money! Believe me we go to high end restaurants a lot! We don’t mind paying money for a good meal!
Food was ok. The root vegetables in the burrata were odd texture. The pasta was too al dente. My friend enjoyed the steak and sides. Dessert also just ok. Was not terrible, but certainly not the best food I ever had. Our server did not take social cues well and lingered in an odd way. Neither of these issues ruined my experience, but it definitely didn’t make it memorable. I would save the money and done at a cheaper option next time
This restaurant never disappoints. Great food and great service. Sam is an excellent waiter very informative with his wine pairing and overall knowledge.
This place is awesome. I wish it was on Long Island.
Food, and service excellent. I'm wondering if I could apply the bill to casino points.
We loved it! It was a nice Italian twist on a steakhouse and will definitely go back!
Our second visit in a month and we were lucky enough to get Robert again as our waiter. Same great service and food. Tried a different dessert this time (the Tiramisu), and it was amazing...
The octopus app was one of the best i have ever tried.
The quality of the food is very good. This was my third time dining here and it’s really good. I also find the prices fair and not exorbitant for a casino higher end restaurant.
The service is good but not great. Server was a bit inattentive and sometimes missing. I shouldn’t have to ask for sugar if coffees are delivered. Also, now there 3x the menu is a bit boring. How about specials? Would jazz things up.
Amazing..... service, food, cocktails and wine list outstanding
Great food. Steaks were wonderful and the baked potatoes were gigantic!!!
Great food. Service was a bit off, but not bad. Had a nice time and a delicious dinner.
Food was overly salted. This was our second time here the first time was great this time was not. Brussels sprouts were horrid. The side salads placed by the steaks Inedible. Service was good wine choices or not. Will try it one more time
My husband was disappointed with his overly fatty ribeye steak and that it was salty.
He found the fingerling potatoes to be more like French fries.
My scallop dinner was delicious as was the creamed spinach.
The cheesecake was excellent. There needs to be more dessert choices.
Lighting is difficult for older eyes.
The service persons are excellent, friendly, knowledgable & helpful.
We will definitely return.
The food and service was very good but the wine list is very expensive. You should be able to get a decent bottle of wine for a decent price. Other wise we were very pleased with the restaurant.
The entire experience was great from beginning to end. Rosemary was our waitress and she made the experience worth coming back again. She explained everything from the breads to the desserts. My first time at the Adler and at your restaurant. Look forward to visiting again.
The service was great. The steak was excellent. The potato purée melted in my mouth.
Great food at this place. It's the other restaurant worth visiting at this casino/resort.
Food was good although a bit pricey. Our waiter was nice but was MIA quite a bit.
The steaks were very good but, the chicken was cold and I had to send it back. So, the encouragement is only to order the steaks
We were very happy wit the dining experience.
The wine list was impressive.
The Barolo wine reduction was superb.
Took my wife and two daughters for an evening dinner while we stayed at Resorts Casino. The steaks and side dishes we’re phenomenal and the price was not NYC.
The food was excellent no complaints but you would think that if you reserved via open table and not just walk in you’d get a better table but no we got a small table off the side and right next to a table with 2 extremely obnoxious customers. They were extremely loud and was bothersome to all of the surrounding customers and the manager does not do anything about it. We couldn’t tell whether they’re mentally handicapped or just plain inebriated. I wanna say that they are a high functioning mentally handicapped mother and daughter but it does not excuse them from shouting “f” bombs loud and just plain rude and ill mannered publicly. Im sure it made the other customers uncomfortable and their experience unpleasant because of those 2 uncontrolled customers.
Rated 4 stars because the menu item( lobster pasta) was sold out, ITS SCRUMPTIOUS and I was looking forward to having that for my second time....absolutely mouthwatering.
The Tagliatelle (bolognese&fontina) is another delectable dish.
I hope you enjoy as I did very much so.....Bon appetit!!!
Although the food was good, the atmosphere ruined the visit for me. The tables did not have tablecloths, the napkins looked like they belong in a bbq place along with wait staff's plastic aprons.
Not impressed at all, and my husband I summed it up as needing sophistication to meet the advertising and the pricing.
Tyler was our server. He was great and made the experience awesome!
I was a little disappointed in the pasta this time. Two weeks ago you gave me Fresh homemade pasta this week you gave me box spaghetti. Meatballs were served cold last time they were served nice and warm.
My husbands baked potato was a little dry this time also. Hopefully next time the food will be a little better. We will be returning!
We decided to go to Resorts World in the Catskills and was told if we went there to eat at Cellaio. There were six of us and between everything we ordered at least 1 person claimed that “this is the best I’ve ever had” with the side dish’s or there main dish. So all 6 of us claimed at least one thing at the table was the best they ever had, lol. That’s pretty high praise. Seth, the manager, came to the table and made us feel important multiple times. Great guy, great restaurant. Amazing experience. Highly recommend. Make sure you call in advance to get a table. Worth every penny.
It was wonderful from the Hostess, to our waiter, to the drinks, and food. We enjoyed our appetizers and knew at that point the meal would be spectacular. The presentation of the food was like nothing we have seen in the area. The taste was amazing. I highly recommend going there. I was very happy we did. I hope to be back very soon.
Went there with girlfriends for a girls night out. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Amazing food in a beautiful atmosphere. My wife and I have been several times since they opened and every experience is better than the last!
Had a good experience, the service was good and the meal was very good., my friend had the steak and I had the roasted Branzino which was excellent.
Fantastic meal served by a professional, attentive staff, drinks were great and wine list is massive but easy to negotiate through. Ambiance is wonderful, large dining room segregated into smaller intimate spaces. I will return soon.
Second time there. Delicious food and waiters able to make suggestions. Plan to go again next month to celebrate our birthdays
Food and service are excellent. It is, however, pricey, especially for the steaks. Everything is a la carte, so a potato, salad, etc. are an extra $11 each. I had the scallops last time we were there, and they are delicious. I would also recommend the poached shrimp if you are getting an appetizer. $17 - comes with 6 HUGE shrimp. Probably the best bargain on the menu as far as I'm concerned. I'm a fan of the place.
Food was good but nothing really blew me away. I was hoping for the steak of a lifetime and while my Ribeye was good, it wasn't the best I've had. Our group of four ordered a variety of salads and sides and we shared among us to get the full culinary experience. Very creative presentation but again, regarding taste, nothing really popped or said, "wow, this will bring me back again for sure". The service (provided by Tim) was excellent - he had very good command of the menu and offered great wine pairings for the evening. Overall, I would recommend to friends and I'll definitely try it again.
Was there for "Date Night" on Saturday. Our waiter Robert was amazing. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional, attentive and very helpful assisting my wife with drink, meal AND dessert recommendations. ALL were right on the money!! The food was fantastic. My Filet Mignon "Well Done" was cooked to perfection....juicy (not the usual dryness that comes with a well done piece of meat), flavorful, and melted in my mouth. We had the oysters and the Shrimp cocktail....couldn't be any fresher had we caught it ourselves. We will be back soon!!
