The new remodeled space was so beautiful! The service, as always, was impeccable. Excellent food and inventive cocktails. Loved the wine list— excellent selections & options for any wine lover. We poked our heads upstairs to see the patio space as well and can’t wait to dine up there too— so tranquil!! Starlite is one of my all time favorite restaurants and I am so happy to be back!

Everyone should experience Starlight. Imaginative, edgy, a joy for all senses whether in the candle lit noir of the bar or the earthy fire and ice of the patio. First rate food, first rate staff, first rate ambience. Just the best.

They need to figure out their reservation system. Letting walk ins come in and congregate with their butts right next to where people are trying to eat is not getting my return business. The eating tables downstairs are small. Telling people to go wait near the DJ table where the wait staff comes through with food is also not ideal. The ONLY place to eat is upstairs. Request it on your reservation and demand it when you check in. Given that, they didn't design the stairs very well. They should go up the other way and end at the bar. They plan to open an upstairs bar and the only way all that foot traffic is going to be able to access is, will be by walking through the entire eating area (walkway there is tight). Finally, we are waiting to hear on the news when someone gets burned by the propane fire in the middle of the walkway. Who designed this floorplan and how they got insurance. For the price point, probably would only return for drinks. What we ate was good but I can get these items elsewhere without the lack of intimacy. Upstairs is open to the outside at the ceiling by about 12 inches. It was windy and people near us moved because it was cold. Not sure why they'd design this that way either. The entire experience wasn't up to Consortium Group standards IMO

When we found out our beloved Starlite was closing for renovations, we were admittedly very nervous. Years as loyal patrons made us distrust any changes, especially after the ownership change. But I have to say, we are delighted with the updates after our first visit back. They've managed to preserve the core features and atmosphere while elevating and modernizing for maximum functionality. It still felt like our Starlite. We aimed to place an order for food and drink as close to our former faves, and mostly we were absolutely jazzed. I'm going to wait for a few more visits where we've tried more things to pass full judgment on the menu, but those mainstays were great. The only change for us that makes us miss the past was that their mules/kentucky colonel (classic starlite items) are no longer served in oversized copper mugs. We knew that was unlikely to be preserved… it used to be like two cocktails in one! But we did thoroughly enjoy all of our drinks, they're just sized to be consistent with typical standards now. Overall, we're relieved at the successful update, delicious food and drink, and the great service and care we experienced.

The initial interaction was really terrible. The host looked visibly irritated that the door was propped open and while talking to two others he rudely told us to close the door. Which was an eye opener, I can see this may be a problem since the check in space is so tiny that one person entering and one person exiting is all it can handle. Then it was out turn to "check-in" - without even looking at us he says "reservation?" - I said yes & gave the details. As soon as he saw that we were there for my birthday he completely changed his voice and said oh we're celebrating a birthday! My husband who usually dgaf about anything said wow that was weird............ He told us we could wait by the DJ stand and that someone would come find us when our table was ready. AGAIN, this our first time here as many others since this place is new. So I looked out and saw no DJ stand, mind you this place has a lot going on and is a beautiful labyrinth. I asked "is the DJ stand straight ahead?" and he responded "there's literally a whole DJ stand"... it was just so rude, so I responded that I could not see the DJ set behind the bar. While we waited forever in the "middle area" we really thought about going home. Luckily we were called right after & our server seriously made up for everything. He was SO AMAZING and really redeemed this place for us personally. We ended up having delicious food and great service from the server. I forgot his name but he was engaged and told us that story if that helps lol :)
