   We just love Spuntino! This was our second dinner here, and it was perfect both times. Lovely staff, great ambiance, and incredible, unique food from start to finish. We can't wait to return.

   Lovely restaurant - didn't offer much in the way of service. Our server took a while to initially come over. The drink we ordered before seating almost didn't make it over (took maybe 15-20 minutes for a cocktail?) Wasn't able to order a second glass of wine until almost finished with entrees - and even then, ordered from a different server we had to flag down. The food was good but none of it blew us away - except for the capellini which was exceptional.

   We’ve been to Sputino many times. Have always loved the food and service. Unfortunately, that was not the case on Saturday night for dinner. We had an early reservation and our server wanted to take our order before we had our drinks. We waited for a long time for drinks and our server continually came to take our order. The food was not up to par. Very disappointing.

   One of my favorite places to go to for a special night out! You have to grab a table weeks out, for good reason. We were able to plan this outing a month out and I’m glad we found a spot. Our second time in and the food was outstanding. I love that they have a lot of vegetarian options unlike places where you have a token vegetarian dish.

   An evening at Spuntino was a wonderful way to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The restaurant was packed and lively, so we enjoyed a table for two by the window. We started with two glasses of Prosecco, and then enjoyed the Focaccia with Rosemary and roasted garlic (you must add the roasted garlic, if just for the aroma) and then the Arancini and the Burrata di Buffalo, both outstanding. For our entrees, we enjoyed the Cannelloni and the Gnocchi with Indian spiced tomato sauce. And for desert, the house made donuts were perfect to ending our evening. Get two orders, because even after 30 years, there are some things we just don't share. We greatly appreciated John, our waiter, who took excellent care of us and engaged in lively conversation. Spuntino is a neighborhood gem, as evidenced by the crowd throughout the evening. A great place to go even if you are not celebrating your 30th. But don't tell anyone.

    We have eaten here four or five times — every dish we have ordered has been downright impressive. The chef is brilliant and we will eat anything she creates. The cocktails are also fabulous and we love the emphasis on amaro. The house-made digestivi are a must if you are a fan of liqueurs.

    Spuntino is easily the best restaurant in Denver. Hands now. No hesitation. The service is exceptional, the food is award-winning and you can’t beat the ambiance. I always send folks there if they ask for restaurant recommendations. The menu changes seasonally, and the executive chef Cindu outdoes herself with every menu change. Do not sleep on this place.

    Food was good. We booked well in advance and we’re the first to arrive… and gurentted via credit card. the lady at the front refused to give us tables next to window. We felt cramped in a corner….. not a good experience on our wedding anniversary. Not cool.

However, as Kristin had told you when you asked about our one table for 3 near the window - it had already been requested by guests of ours who've been visiting us for 7 years and had booked their reservation a month ago. Had you requested it when you booked on Sunday, or had told us about your anniversary, we certainly could have tried to accommodate and at least help you celebrate in some other way, had we known.

    I hate to say it, but I was disappointed... Spuntino's had a lot of positive press, so I was looking forward to it, especially since the chef was nominated for a James Beard award. The service was wonderful... Knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. I didn't like my cappellini so she replaced it... It was too spicy in a garlic way and other than that it didn't have much flavor. The replacement (agnolotti) was disappointing as well as the pasta special. Nothing special about any of the pasta, even thought it's made in house. The Insalata was extraordinary and I may go back just for that and the clams were delicious too. The thing that really bothered all of us was that it was extremely noisy and we ended up leaving earlier than we wanted to because we just could not hear each other talk at all. The noise actually ruined the evening for us. I wish restaurants would pay better attention to the acoustics

Given our unique and personal take on Italian-inspired food and pasta in particular, we know that what we do is not for everyone, however grateful we are for the common praise we get for the dishes you tried. I want to apologize for the noise as well - I think you simply got unlucky with your neighbors on Friday as you were in what is usually a very quiet part of our restaurant.

    The culinary combinations, prep, and presentations were exceptional compared to a large variety of high-end restaurants I have sampled over the past several decades across the globe. The seating was dense-pack configuration and the two guys and a gal seated 2 feet away from us spent their meal talking over one-another at a very high volume. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we were seated next to the server station. Exceptional food, ho-hum setting.

    Great date night! This was our 3rd or 4th visit and one of our last nights out before becoming parents and Spuntino really delivered. Super friendly, attentive, professional service from the whole team. I am always appreciative of a great mocktail and we enjoyed the focaccia (add the garlic!), crab salad (on a lil crunchy potato pancake!), gnocchi (seared and served in delish indian sauce omg), and the goat papardelle. This is one of the few spots we’ve found in our 5 years in Denver that just always hits reliably on all notes.

    The food at Spuntino is incredible, as is the service. Congratulations to Chef Reddy on her James Beard Award Nomination! My only complaint was that the restaurant was super cold. I had to wear my coat during the whole meal. For me, personally, I have a hard time enjoying myself when I'm shivering. Not an ideal dining experience. Definitely going back when the weather is warmer.

    Incredible waiter (with very cool glasses - will have to grab his name next time). It was a group of 6 of us out for dinner celebrating a birthday. We absolutely devoured the menu. Starters - cheese & meat plate for large group, olives, burrata, crab salad. Mains - scallops, brick chicken, special of the day ravioli & parpadelle. Dessert - 6 different gelatos, zeppoles, olive oil cake Cocktails were fabulous. All around a great time!

    Dining here was an experience. The service is top notch- warm and friendly, but not overbearing. Our server and the folks who brought the food to our table seemed to really love the menu. Everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable about the menu and honestly made us feel like we ordered the most incredible things. The food is delicious- a fusion of flavors and techniques, but again nothing felt forced. We loved everything, but the gnocchi (tender and flavorful), the granchio (really nice textural pairing with the butternut squash and potato cake) were standouts. Very nice wine list and delicious cocktails too!

    Amazing Italian food with a twist. I think this place serves one of the best pastas around Denver. Me and my husband ordered Burrata di Bufala with our drinks. We had Bourbonator and Negroni and they were pretty good. But pastas really stole the show. I had Pappardelle and husband had daily special and they had handkerchief pasta with lamb that day. Both the pastas were so flavorful. I’d definitely go back to try more. Loved the place!! Cozy ambience and the service was just perfect.
