Good night for the party of 4. Had great night for the live football ! Table service with drinks was good
Was v v busy so more staff needed. They were rushed off there feet
It wasn’t a total disaster. Out of fish, stale buns and just before we left a mouse greeted us. When we arrived they had no clue we had a reservation through this app. It was a $180 Canadian waste of money. McDonald’s would have been better.
Considering you’re up London and paying over the odds to begin with for food. You’d think the chefs would have at least been trained in cooking. I know shock horror that I’d expect a chef to be chef trained
Firstly I cannot fault the waitress. It’s not her fault. She done her job well. Even memorised the order without writing it down. Witchcraft I know but I thought I’d let it slide as I want to remain mythioglocl nuetral and not offend the spirit world
If you do attend this hell hole for drinks I think you’ll be just fine because the beers were good. However the food was so bad I think a child could have whipped up something better with a cooking set from the Early Learning Shop. My hunters chicken was horrendous, it was so over cooked team GB could have used it as an Olympic discus and won gold.
The waitress did offer to get me a new one but why would I want it again, it took them 25 mins to make this, why would I want to wait another 25 minutes for the same pathetic attempt?
However 2 of the boys had the fish finger sandwich which looked alright. Nice to know for £15 they can cook birds eye fish fingers and cut slices of bread. All in a days work or a top chef I guess.
Overall I wouldn’t go back if you didn’t get the gist of the this rant
Over and out
Poorly staffed for a very busy day. Food was average and expensive for what it was.
Bar man was miserable - and alone.
New Years Eve pre celebration dinner
Having been sick a few days before, I went for what I thought was a safe option in Roast Chicken which arrived very pale and when cut into was still pink and bloody. Second version was then fried for quickness but I could hardly eat anything, as still put off by that inside colour. A lot of money for having only eaten some new potatoes on the side. Not offered discount or anything, just a sorry about that from Waitress.
The waitresses were very friendly and very accomodating, we had a great time - can't thank you enough! The ice cream cookie sandwhich was especially tasty!
Great service from Rhianna!! Very good recommendations and helpful hints about the area. Will definitely tell others how good it was!
Mostly my own fault for a) not realising it was in the station and b) not knowing there was a football match on at the time - it is a sports bar after all.
It was VERY LOUD to the point where we felt like we'd been clubbing (not in a fun way) when we left. The tube was like a sanctuary.
The burger bun was stale, but the wait staff were very kind. If you have a gourmet card you can get 50% off, which makes an otherwise expensive place (given it's by the platforms) affordable.
When we arrived at 6.30pm it was very busy and you could hardly hear yourselves speak. We had to literally squeeze into our seats in a corner. After a while the crowds thinned out and it became a more comfortable atmosphere. Food was average but waitress very attentive and friendly. OK for a quick meal and catch up now and again.
So handy if you need to get home from Waterloo. We booked at a table which was just as well as it was heaving on a Tuesday evening. Burgers were really great and came quickly. There was just one girl serving our area but she was really efficient and friendly. Really good place to catch up with friends before a commute home.
I had lunch 9 October with a friend. I'd won a voucher for a free lunch for two.
Staff were very friendly and service excellent.
Ate calamari and burgers which were all good.
I'd recommend if you are traveling through Waterloo and need a bite or a drink.
Really helpful staff - excellent service. Great for watching live sports.
Awful service, food took ages and was average at best. Probably won't be going there again!
I booked a reservation and showed up and got yelled at that it wasn't received.
Great location for casual meal or drinks, right inside Waterloo station. Good service and relaxed atmosphere
We visited this restaurant after going to the theatre. As it was quite late it wasn't very busy. The food was edible but nothing to write home about. We had the ribs which could have done with more cooking as they were slightly chewy but the wings were tasty. The service was friendly and helpful.
The staff were really accommodating and didn't make me feel remotely guilty that my nieces and nephew wrecked the place. The food was ok but the service more than made up for it.
Poor service. We had to arrange our own tables. One meal didn't arrive. Very loud environment. Little atmosphere. Food was good. Presentation of food was very good.
Not great. Starters and main arrived together. When main reappeared after being sent away it was stone cold and not appealing.
Great for an early morning breakfast and a good pint of Guinness
A perfect solution to pre- theatre dinner, where people have to come from different directions and at slightly different times. We will come again .
This is very much a burger-and-chips place. Very loud atmosphere so expect to shout to be heard. Food is mediocre but a cut above Burgerking. Convenient if you happen to be in Waterloo but not a place you are going to make a pilgrimage to.
Service was quick and staff helpful when I called saying we'd be late due to the trains. Perfect for quick good food before a gig and also the first time in a long time I've had Heineken beer that tasted how it does at the cellar door in Amsterdam and not like watered down or from dirty pipes.
Will be back again. Cheers.
The roasts are lovely, a nice size and the food was great for the price.
Very conveniently located within Waterloo station and therefore handy for dining whilst waiting for a train connection.
We went for breakfast to the Waterloo Sports Bar and Grill. The food was good the service was good and it was good value for money. Plus there was various sports being shown around the bar.
Service is great, friendly and smiley staff. Food is very middle of the road in terms of quality, but they give large portions so if you don't mind that you will at least leave full. Price is fair for the location. Honestly, better to have drinks here and eat elsewhere. Bar is really nice for a station side one, good beers, better suited for after work crowd then family's I would say.
So many TV screens to choose from so was able to watch 2 Euro games playing at the same time. Table service was ideal and the food was fine. A very pleasant evening.
The food was very nice. The service was fast. Our waitress was helpful and pleasant. The place seemed more spacious than I expected for somewhere like this. It was quite noisy, but OK. It was clean. The food was not cheap (100 pounds for 5 of us to have one course, so not expensive either). My scampi was rather small, but everything else seemed generously sized.
The Steak Royale was amazing
Very poor service at bar and at table, delays, missed items and ran out of eggs at breakfast time on an otherwise quiet day
We didn't have the privilege of sampling the food as they had no gluten-free options. Very old fashioned menu, so we went elsewhere for food and came back to watch sports later.
Staff were very nice, though.
Quiet lunch far from the madding crowd of the south bank on Easter Friday. Food was good, service fine. Men's toilets however were ankle deep, not good.
Great place for pre rugby match drinks and food. Good is good whether breakfast or lunch. Service on match day is slow but I guess that is slightly expected as the bar is busy and all tables taken.
Incredibly busy on a Friday at 6pm but managed to get a table and didn't have to wait too long for the hotdogs, which were excellent.
It seemed unusually busy for a Tuesday evening and thus short staffed. We had to wait 17 minutes to put in a drinks order and wait a further 20 minutes for them to arrive. The sharers and nibble food was very good however I felt that the vegetarian food was lacking in variety and options. I had the vegetarian sausages with chips - the sausages were very dry and bland. The atmosphere was very good as there was football on the screens and everyone was jovial.
Overall a decent night but could have been better.
Third time have eaten hear but service was very slow and when the starter arrived at the same time as the main meal, well had to send the starter back. Suggest they get more crew to serve at table at lunch time.
Manager has no manners and tried to laugh in our faces until she realised she was wrong.
Good spot to watch sport - doesn't feel like a typical train station pub. Service can be slow due to number of commuters
