Experience is always a good thing, especially when it comes to running a restaurant, and the owners of central London’s Spicy World have plenty of that. For over twenty five years now, they have run a restaurant of the same name off of Vauxhall Bridge Road and have now put all of the knowledge gained there in to a new venture just moments away from the original. Comfortable and modern with a bright, attractive décor in appropriately spicy tones, the dining room is suited to relaxed dining with friends and family but thanks to a central location and high level of service finds itself just as popular with business diners too.     We really made a mistake by choosing this "restaurant" after reading many good reviews on Toptable pages. We even booked it beforehand. The Internet photo looked rather good, additionally. However, although food was OK, the service was unprofessional (waiter forgot to put forks and knives on the table, took away the wine list before ordering, one of the menus did not contain all pages etc.). In short, this is no restaurant but a food kiosk with a couple of tables and chairs. The positive issue was, however, that afterwards we had a good laugh at what had happened.

    Asian version of Faulty Towers too many things wrong to relate in the space allowed here. Not even worth the meal deal of 50% off food, which of course they forgot to adjust on the bill. Just don't go, there are so many other vastly superior curry houses.

    Went there with a group of six, including four children. The food was okay, nothing special, but tasty enough. Service was attentive, but not particularly slick. Was okay, would probably not go there again though, would check somewhere else in the area out.

    Spicy World Restaurant in London Victoria, not far from the station. On arrival slightly put off by the manager greeting us and smoking! Small no frills restaurant, but if your looking for a reasonable curry at a reasonable price you can't go wrong here. Food was tasty, waiting staff friendly.

    I went here with my dad for a bite to eat. The food was tasty however we were the only people in the (small) restaurant so it lacked in atmosphere a bit.

    This is a small but comfortable Indian restaurant, and I enjoyed their curry. Service was very friendly and efficient. They have a branch in Wilton Street, and both of them are very good. Excellent value and tasty food.

    Spicy World Balti House on Wilton Avenue in Victoria is an old fashioned curry house. The staff were friendly and the menu extensive. The food was ok and with 50% off it was good value.

    Delicious as always; really friendly staff. I've been over 10 times. Thoroughly recommend if you're looking for tasty and non-greasy indian food.
