Service for brunch is always spotty here. Some dishes are hit or miss. It is always just good but never spectacular. We go here for the pleasant ambience mainly. Like everywhere in PS now it is pricey.

We visited Spencer’s for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience….. we were greeted with Happy Anniversary and even had a special recognition card at our table. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic, cooked to perfection according our requests. If we can recommend one restaurant with a consistently good experience it will always be Spencer’s!

As always, service was great! We tried the Sunday brunch today and it was good. I would’ve personally appreciated it even more so if there was a choice on the dessert. But overall, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our brunch.

Spencer’s has often been our go-to for special occasions and celebrations, but last night was a disappointment. The patio was as lovely as ever and the food (we both had steaks) delicious, but the service was worse than mediocre. To call it perfunctory would be generous. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the service staff we saw barely a smile. No effort was made to display any personality or congeniality or to make us feel welcome or engaged. We expect and deserve more from a high-end restaurant. It seems Spencer’s knows they have a captive audience because of location and reputation and have adopted an attitude of that being enough. I don’t think so …

Spencer’s restaurant has excellent food and a very good wait staff. The ambience is very nice. I was disappointed in the staff at check-in. I felt as though I was not welcome. We were a bit early for a 5pm reservation but we have a drive to get there and didn’t want to be late. We were not greeted with a smile and told the bar was full so we couldn’t get a cocktail. We were there for dinner not the bar. The hostess desk sets the tone for the evening. I was annoyed. I would recommend the restaurant with a word of warning.

I always enjoy Spencer’s. Yesterday’s lunch might have been the best meal I’ve ever had there! The 3 course lunch included a delicious salad, perfectly cooked salmon, and yummy butter cake. The patio is so pleasant. The staff, as usual, was appropriately attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great ambiance. Beautiful patio dining and food was outstanding. Was undecided about ordering the pork chop, but it was outstanding- not over cooked with all the right flavors. Hubby had the short ribs which he said were the best he has ever had. Good wine list and overall very good value. Will definitely return. Our waitress Delphina was very knowledgeable and spot on with her recommendations.. So happy we found thIs icon in the desert.

My first visit, love the restaurant, food was amazing, staff was awesome as I had planned a birthday. The only issue was the server was slammed with more tables than she could handle. As we didn’t mind the long wait to be checked on and when we where she was flustered which is not her fault. But will be back as the food and wine was amazing

Spencer's is consistently extraordinary. From the service to the ambiance to the cuisine it always an exceptional experience. Their tuna tartare is a perfect blend of fresh ahi, avocado, citrus and micro greens. The lobster club is like no other. Fresh, a generous portion of lobster and crispy thick cut bacon. Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. We just need to go more often!

Spencer's is and has been our favorite desert restaurant for decades. The location and decor of the restaurant is wonderful. The staff are friendly and have worked there for years and years. The menu is always filled with wonderful choices. They usually have a nice selection of specials too. The wine list is very good. Michelle took excellent care of us making us feel special and welcome. We want to have a great experience when we dine out and Spencer's always succeeds!

We have lived here for 2 years and love Spencer's. Celebrated my parents 64th anniversary. So lovely and they are having their seasonal soft crab. What a special treat. Every staff member was incredible. Thank you so much. We will be back.

Great food and service! It was my beautiful neighbor’s 94th birthday and she was given proper attention by the staff. We arrived at five and were seated immediately. The birthday honoree & I are a bit hard of hearing, so while quiet when we arrived, the restaurant got very noisy as the evening progressed, which made conversation difficult. All in all, a wonderful evening.

We made a reservation and requested a table in the main dining room. It was our anniversary and there was nice note placed on our table from Spencer's acknowledging our special occaison. We returning guests and prefer the main dining. The tables are nicely spaced, the vibe is quiet which allows you to have a quiet and romantic dining experience without the conversation noise from nearby tables. Service is nicely timed as we did not fell rushed during our meal. Compliments to the culinary team that create diverse Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus. We ordered from the Dinner Prix Fixe menu which had a varied selection of food items. We enjoyed the Caesar salad (chopped) and baby spinach salad. The baby spinach salad contained candied pecans and feta cheese making the salad a tasty combination. The braised beef short entree was a large portion and very tender. I was able to order the oven roasted duck medium well, which I prefer. The fig and date relish along with the raspberry demi-glace made this entree over the top. Our dessert selections were chocolate pot de creme and carrot cake. The chocolate pot de creme had a rich chocolate flavor and the homemade cookies were a nice accompaniment. Spencer's is our favorite restaurant and recommend it for an enjoyable dining experience.
