Enrique is an exceptional server! His attention and care made our anniversary dinner a lovely experience.
Food great as always.
Thank you for a great dining experience.
Table next to us were loud. Once they left it was pleasant. Waiting was busy so service was slow but he was great at dealing with it.
Excellent food & service. I will be back to this place again soon!
Great service. Great food
Service and quality always consistently the best in town. The atmosphere in the outside patio area is incredible and adds to the overall positive dining experience. Personally, I love the breakfast / brunch scene at Spencer's. A must see dining venue for everyone that comes to town!
Been eating here for years, never disappoints
A wonderful Palm Springs dining experience, beautiful ambience with an indoor outdoor feel, tables well spaced for conversation and excellent waitstaff. The food is delicious along with an varied and ample wine list. A must eat place in Palm Springs with a swanky vibe.
Love the outside dining and the food is
Me and my wife went for a date night. The food was excellent and ambience was great. Also we had some great conversations with other patrons.
Outstanding in every way.
I have always felt that Spencer's is the best restaurant in Palm Springs, and they didn't disappoint on this occasion. the food was superb as was the service. And the ambience matches both.
Great ambience, good food and awesome place
Always love Spencer's. Ambiance is wonderful - I love the patio. I always take visiting friends to Spencer's and I have never been disappointed.
We waited for over 45 minutes after ordering to be served. The food seemed less than former visits.
Food was fantastic and while our server was very professional he had far too many tables and only 1 helper. Meanwhile I saw no less than 3 host / maitre d staff walking around with tablets. The restaurant noise level was fine and the seats we had were comfortable but the temperature was very warm. Overall we enjoyed our meals and I have to mention the crispy skin white fish. Just an absolutely perfect dish. Unfortunately my significant other was very displeased I forgot to share!
It was excellent as usual. Everyone who works there knows what they’re supposed to be doing & does it efficiently & with a good attitude. The food of course was also excellent. A very nice evening with my parents who are in their 90’s.
We had a delightful meal on the enclosed patio in the middle of a wind storm that ended with rain as well. The food and service were excellent as always, but the weather turned the evening into a really memorable time.
We had a fabulous dining experience. We had wanted to sit outside in their beautiful courtyard but a wind storm helped us to decide to move inside. We were given a great table in a corner. The food was excellent. There we’re actually several gluten free options on the pre fixe menu which takes a lot of pressure off of this has-to-be gluten-free diner. I loved my meal and bonus points for the gluten free cookies with the chocolate pot de creme. There’s a fun energy at Spenser’s with a lot of — what appear to be — long time, regular diners driving the buzz. Fun night!
We sat outside and the wind picked up and then we got rained on, not there fault yet, they could have let us go inside
This was my second visit to Spencer’s after a wonderful first experience, but this time I was disappointed and can’t help feeling a bit cheated. The overall experience was good until it came to my main course. My husband and I had cocktails, lobster pot stickers for an appetizer, and the green apple salad that we enjoyed. For main courses, he had the short ribs which he loves, and I chose the pasta puttanesca. You will never hear me self-describe as a foodie and I’m not the better chef at home, but any home chef could have made a better puttanesca than Spencer’s. For $33, my dish had 3 shrimp, with “grilled chicken” that was just a few small pieces of very finely julienned chicken, and a flavorless sauce. It had no evidence of the advertised anchovies, and the green olives used were the ones from the jar on the shelf of any local supermarket rather than marinated Italian style olives. The chef and owners should be embarrassed to claim this dish to be fine dining, and I assume they think it is okay or that I didn’t know the difference since I didn’t call it out and send the dish back. Why not, you ask? Simply because that further ruins the dining experience. It was my husband’s birthday, and I hadn’t presented it as an “occasion” to the restaurant since he didn’t prefer dessert or the extra attention. Sending my dish back would have meant an interruption to a nice time with him while we waited for a substitution as he either ate first or had his dinner sit for an extended period under a warmer. All of that for something that was not a mistake, but just a poor attempt at creating a dish in the first place. I paid the bill and still left a good tip for the waiter as he did his job well. If this was just an overall poor restaurant, I wouldn’t say much and just not go back, but Spencer’s knows better, and that leaves more of a bad taste than the puttanesca itself.
Despite the sudden wind storm and a few flying branches, the meal and experience was excellent. Servers made the evening fun. Food was delicious. Always a highlight of a trip to PS!
Everything about our experience at Spencer's was top drawer
I highly recommend Spencer's for your dining pleasure while in the desert. Spectacular service, perfect setting, quiet, wait staff is very attentive. Valet parking or street parking.
Spencer's is a reliably great place for any meal. We had a nice birthday dinner with friends. Service was quick and attentive. Food was well prepared and presented and tasted great. One of our favorite spots to eat in the desert.
Lovely, lovely venue, splendid food, and thoughtful and considerate service. Wonderful restaurant.
Great food, great service
DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL1. Was my first time and I now see what the fuss is about. We will be back.
Wonderful lobster Benedict on a beautiful patio under ficus trees
My husband’s birthday.
The service, setting and food are always perfect at Spencer’s.
We felt very rushed from the moment we sat down until we left. I was expecting a more relaxed atmosphere in which we could linger but that was not the case.
Always dine at Spencer’s for birthday celebrations and anniversaries, it never disappoints. Last night was excellent , and we will keep coming back. Daniel, our server, was very attentive and professional.
The best classic dining experience in Palm Springs. The outdoor patio is the best outdoor dining place in Palm Springs, too. Food, service and ambience were all superior.
Classy dining experience away from the main drag but not too fussy. A great brunch place.
Saturday early birthday lunch for a friend. Wonderful outdoor ambience and the waitstaff did not hurry us at all. Much appreciated!
Never disappoints. Always a pleasure being there.
Service was great
We enjoy Spencer’s on our annual trip to Palm Springs. The fish special was spectacular! The atmosphere is always interesting and lively.
