   the good--- food was better than it ever has been. the not so good--- kitchen a little slow. all said, a very nice experience. Simon is a wonderful waiter

   Amazing service, from the greeter, to the water delivery to the amazing waiter! Truly an experience and the tables and view were outstanding! We will be back!

   We arrived 5 minutes late for our reservation at 5:15. When we checked in at the hostess station the restaurant was mostly empty. We were seated just beyond the bar at a table that was considered outdoor. My husband felt like he was seated at a kids table because the stone walk way was not level & the table was not level. We didn’t want to say anything so we called it an experience. After we were seated someone asked the type of water we preferred. We said regular water was fine. The glass of water arrived & we never had the water refilled again. The homemade rolls arrived & they were very fresh and tasty. Another five minutes went by when our actual waiter finally arrived to take our drink order. My husband ordered a mezcala & I tried the Lychee martini.  both were delicious and well prepared. The waiter dropped off our drinks and then left. We were ready to order and we were ready to hear about any specials. When he finally came back, he just asked are we ready with no specials or any other information. we both ordered off of the price fix menu. My husband tried the short ribs and I had the white fish. The short ribs tasted just like a beef roast you would prepare at home nothing special. I had the pan fried white fish. The fish was fresh, but wasn’t very appealing due to the fact that there was skin on both sides of the fish.  Overall I am sorry that I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I would not recommend this restaurant and I would never go back.

   Sadly, The staff seemed challenged on most recent visit…waited 45 minutes beyond reservation time with no updates or regrets! Our waiter appeared impatient and rushed. This was unusual for Spencer’s, which usually excels at service…maybe just an off-night.

   Hoping they just had a bad night. Four people, $400. Have been going to Spencer's for over 10 years. Cannot remember any experience like last night. Very noisy, people everywhere walking around, slow service, mediocre food. Drinks were good.

    Very nice - as always! Great food at reasonable prices. Service very attentive. Outdoor patio room provides wonderful dining experience.
