Waiter was great.
They did a good job with the tent.
We stared at one young man took off his shoes to dirty feet
Tables are far apart - nice tent they are using
Great quality food. Very poor service.
Polite and nice staff. Overpriced but
worth it.
Awesome Experience
Highly recommended
Incredible experience. Food is amazing, outdoor tent was perfect, AND we got to meet Wolfgang :)
Celebrated my bday here and loved it!!!
Will come again.
We loved our experience. It was a very special birthday for my son.
I guess they were having a busy night. The level of service we received was not what expected from a restaurant of this caliber Will try again on a less busy night
Dinner was delicious and all the staff, as usual, was very attentive
Really enjoyed dinner at Spago. The calzones I remember are long gone I guess, and there was only one pizza option, with Norwegian salmon. I miss those staples that I feel created the Spago empire. Either way, the food was great, as was the service. Just as expected.
Spago has built a beautiful more permanent outdoor dining space. Very nicely decorated and so much better than being on the pavement. Food was delicious and service wonderful.
Staff was extremely welcoming and nice! Great recommendations and delicious food!
Love that Looks serious the canopy gave us unusual ambience with paint on road block was very vibrant.
They were in a rush to get you in and out of the restaurant. To the point of receiving an email explicitly telling you that you have 2 hours to dine. I get that it’s a popular restaurant with limited seating due to COVID but it’s not cool to be forced to order the main course up front and be told that it won’t be delivered in the middle of your appetizer course (it was) and then be interrupted during the said main course (40 mins in to the reservation) how long it takes to prepare the soufflé (it takes 16 minutes). Needless to say we passed on the dessert. Black Sea Bass was fantastic. So was the tuna appetizer. Scallops were not good at all and the waiter made it worse with a poor wine pairing. Aged bourbon drink was also great. We left with 50 mins on the clock remaining ...
Had a fabulous dining experience on my wife’s birthday. Food, ambiance and staffing were all amazing.
Terrible artichoke appetizer. In pasta with crab appetizer, chef forgot to put in the crab.
Everything was FABULOUS
It was lovely
Birthday celebration
Outstanding in every way. Food was perfect server was as good as they get. Loved the well spaced patio. Beautiful.
Medium rare steak over cooked and served cold. Waited for over an hour until food is served.
Beautiful Easter Dinner, they didn’t rush us and we were seated in our favorite place, the inside garden
Fantastic dining experience. Everything was perfect, start to finish. Spectacular food and service. And felt VERY safe!
SPAGO is a spectacular restaurant. Service is second to none. The food is very good. The courtyard is comfortable. It is blissfully quiet.
HOWEVER the bar is in need of enlightenment as to the ingredients of standard drinks.
Food was diner quality at a 5 start price. No idea how they have the reputation they have.
I didnt like the Pavilion and for the first time didn't enjoy the food either.
Wolfgang is a master.
One of the last more elegant destination restaurants in LA. Dress nicely, feel good, enjoy professional staff and delicately delicious food.
Better to come with a bigger party than a date night... brought my fiancé and were essentially completely ignored by our waiter throughout the evening amidst a few other bigger tables that he tended to constantly... the entire second half of our meal we had no drinks, not even water, and when we asked for them he never brought them... we actually felt like an inconvenience. Food is amazing and to their credit, the bus boys and other staff were really the only way we got our first drinks in the first place and often had to chase our waiter for us, so they were great, but waiter was absolutely terrible.
Spago now in mega & likely million $$$ tent on street, packed on a Sunday night, 8-10pm, mainly rich 50-70 year olds, many having maybe mega group Covid spreading Bday parties...yes kissing & hugging & no masks anywhere! Even co-owner Ms. Barbara Ex-Puck Lazaroff making rich people table rounds, mainly unmasked. Why wonder Wolfgang couldn’t handle her.
Food great, but 2 apps for 2 arrived 45 MINUTES into our resy, with 2 entrees by 1 - 1.25 hours into resy. We had to go, so no dessert. Server felt bad & embarrassed a tad as he knew we needed to get out for a longggggg drive home, so he gave us 5 small cc cookies (yes, they were yummy) in a to-go box for later. Service/KITCHEN very slow & clearly the MAIN PROBLEM tonight. Reviews mention this as chronic problem. Lotza staff with us & clearly less staff cooking & prepping meals...HIRE more back of house workers back of house, please!
Steak was cold and overdone. Broccoli was stems. Not impressed.
The tuna cones are out of this world!! Wagyu melted oh so perfectly 😋
Beautiful setting, great atmosphere to get together with friends.
Food is outstanding, excellent presentation of the dishes and high quality of service.
I high recommend to have the experience at Spago!
