This was our first time at the restaurant. We were there for our anniversary. The food was fantastic. The waite staff was phenomenal. We never felt rushed and they went above and beyond making sure we had a perfect evening.

A wonderful experience. The food was amazing and the staff was above reproach! My grandchildren were welcomed and treated with a level of kindness and attention I have never experienced at any high-end steakhouse I have ever been to. Perfect birthday dinner! This is a “must” experience for anyone who loves great food, awesome drinks, and an evening of attention.

Amazing to get a reservation 1 day ahead on a Saturday at 6. We were celebrating our anniversary and everyone was welcoming and they even left a nice card. Bourbon selection is on the short side, but they still had some perennial favorites. Nothing too adventurous. We both had filets. My wife's was very good, though mine was a bit tough. Not enough to send back, but enough to be disappointed. Sides were very good, though the Brussel sprouts could have been hotter. Our waitress seemed a bit unenthusiastic, but the water guy was on his hand

Everything was good with the exception of about a 30 minute lull where it seemed like everyone disappeared. It felt like the meal took about 45 minutes longer than it needed to. But the food was good and, besides the disappearing servers, the interaction with the servers was amazing. The other huge drawback was parking. We ended up about a quarter mile away with quite a hike to make it back. It would have been farther if not for the luck of stumbling on someone leaving as we approached. My recommendation would be to focus on the GPS leading to good parking options first, and then worry about getting to the restaurant.

Excellent spot! We were celebrating our anniversary and every staff member wished us a happy anniversary and spoiled us. Food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic date. Nice and quiet and we never felt rushed.

Food was only Luke warm; tenderloin steaks were over seasoned and white cheddar Aug gratin was so salty it was inedible. Prime rib was good, but had clearly been sitting as outside was cold. Roasted garlic potatoes were good. Calamari was cold, though dipping sauce good. Will not go back for the cost.

This was a redo from a Mother’s Day debacle. Their words, not mine. The restaurant gave us a $100 credit, to return , for a $250 meal on Mother’s Day . So we gave it another chance. The Ribeye I ordered was spectacular. I also had the soup of the day, which was phenomenal. However my wife ordered a New York strip medium rare, came out extra rare and so tough still, that a 1/3 of the meat was inedible. The restaurant is good, the for is hot or miss, but for the price not really worth it to us. The wait staff is very nice, too.

This is the first time we went to Sonny Lubicks' Steak House. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was opulent for a downstairs restaurant. The drinks were good. My wife's rib eye steak seemed overcooked; and my prime rib was rarer than I would have liked. I ordered mine medium rare; and it was pretty raw. We both didn't ask for it to be redone because it seemed to ruin a celebratory mood. The vegies were cooked perfectly. My wife's potatoes augratin potatoes were excellent. The restaurant gave us a free desert of no flour chocolate cake which was amazing. We will definitely go here again and be a little more clear on the meat temperature.

This is a great place for a special occasion. It is a very nice atmosphere and the food is great. It is definitely on the pricey side. I would say maybe a little too pricey for the value and quantity of food you get. But I would recommend.

Absolutely sensational. We will be going back! The 6 oz. beef filet minon I ordered was cooked perfectly (medium). Note that the sides orders are pretty big; there were enough mushrooms (I ordered the small) for two, as well as a huge amount of brussel sprouts. They ran out of the garlic mashed potatoes I ordered, so they brought out a BIG sample cup of their au gratin potatoes--heavenly! The bread they serve rotates flavors; it was the rosemary, and is served warm, with a garlic butter--oh my! We split a salad and loved it; the dessert was a Butter Cake, a warm strawberry shortcake, (with crisped edges) with a light cream cheese filling, vanilla ice cream, and fresh berries and whip cream--their most popular dessert, and I saw why after one bite. I had leftovers of everything, so I can hardly wait to quit typing this rave review and head to our kitchen's steam oven to reheat and enjoy it all again!!!
