This restaurant is abysmal. I was drawn to it because it had strong reviews here, on Opentable, that were clearly dishonest. Or negative reviews were hidden. The decor is EXTREMELY dated, straight out of a greasy-surfaced 2002 interior decorator catalogue. If you miss the days of brown and burgundy and repetitive stylized rectangle textiles, then you'll love this spot! Everything was tacky and not well-cleaned, the table had the dull wipe marks of a dirty towel and the sticky texture of neglect and age. We had a server that had one table, and he was not proactive nor friendly. He made no recommendations. I ordered a berry and vodka cocktail, one, that was $20. It came in a pint glass and had no perceived taste of liquor. They gave me a regular straw, but a hilarious quantity of macerated berries that simply clogged the straw and was a hackneyed idea. We got the Falafel entree as an appetizer, another $20. The pita was DIS-GUSTING. It can only be described as NASA mattress material with a brown coating on the outside. It had the texture of styrofoam and the flavor of rancid oil, it wasn't warmed up whatsoever before it hit my plate. The rest of the entree was good, but five teeny tiny falafel and a smear of hummus does not a $20 entree make. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and added an extra side caesar. The caesar was the sole bright spot in this meal. But I'm saving the best for last. My Sea Bass entree was served with polenta, pancetta, leeks and corn. The fish was rancid, having a deeply unpleasant taste of camphor and latex. And all of the "fixins" with the fish were CLEARLY repurposed from the breakfast buffet - polenta was, in fact, grits. The pancetta was cut-up, refried bacon. It was embarrassing that I fell for this dish because it was clearly just - breakfast leftovers with ancient frozen fish. We had one single cocktail, one entree-as-an-appetizer, two entrees and one side salad: our total with tip was $165. Never, EVER again

Beautiful setting, good service, large menu. Server chased me down after I left my hat inadvertently.

Resort is historic and beautiful. Restaurant needs a refresh. Menu is OK for a hotel restaurant. Food quality was good. Had a shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp), BBQ Chicken flat, Cesar Salad (way too much cheese). Some nice people working there. Service was OK. The OpenTable listing appears to need updating. It doesn’t appear the hotel operates as a W=A any longer. Saw zero Waldorf branding.

The outdoor patio was great. Nice and cool. Our table ordered the 12 oz steak, prime rib dip, cob salad, a burger, fries and tots. All the food was good and our server was outstanding. Good value for the food we received. Table favorites were the con salads, burger, tots and fries!

Staying at La Quinta Resort, this is one of three restaurants. We had the most friendly, attentive and charming server, Yvette. She was wonderful and made our dinner a wonderful experience. We had the best Cobb salad but split it if you are with someone. It is huge. Also a great shrimp cocktail. Lived eating here and will be back.
