   This was our second visit to Melyns. We’re in Palm Springs for our daughter’s wedding weekend and the kids wanted to enjoy a special dinner there. Service is impeccable. The old Hollywood vibe is great. Food is good but very pricey.

   So glad to take my husband to the iconic Melvyn’s. Still the same incredible food I remember from childhood. The Beef Wellington & Bananas Foster are not to be missed.

   Richard was amazing from the minute we sat down until the time we walked out the door. He was beyond amazing and made for a great experience.

   Wonderful atmosphere that made you felt like you were stepping back into time of glamour and service. Great service with a very interactive waitress who made the evening more memorable. The beef, Wellington, and the steak. Diane were fabulous as well as bananas foster. We would certainly save our pennies and visit again. The next time we were in Palm Springs.

   Shelly was our waitress and she was amazing. Our first time there to celebrate my birthday- they made it special. We will be back!!!

   Always a great dining experience at Melvyn’s and this most recent visit was similar. Our waiter Gabriel was fantastic, pleasant to talk with and worked to make sure our visit was exceptional. The history of Melvyn’s along with present day offerings and experience makes this establishment a must visit when in Palm Springs.

   We had such a great time at Melvyn’s. The staff, Jose’ and Sherry were outstanding. The food was excellent. Love the history and also live music.

   Melvyn's is a lovely restaurant, and we’ll definitely be back. Overall, the food was very good. My dish—the roasted chicken—was unfortunately quite dry. The server returned it to the kitchen, and it was removed from the tab. I was a bit disappointed that he didn’t offer any kind of apology. He asked if I wanted to order something else, but I don't relish eating after most everyone at the table is already finishing their meals. That said, the steak, salads, chicken pot pie, and deviled eggs were all delightful. We could hear the piano playing in the bar and promised ourselves we'd have an after-dinner drink there next time.

    This was our first time at Melviyn’s and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding and unique. There’s a lot of dishes on their menu that you just don’t see in restaurants anymore, such as table side flambés. . Their Steak Diane is outstanding. They have bananas foster, and Cherrie‘s jubilee and it’s like an old-fashioned steakhouse that you feel to a step back in time. It was really great.
