    I have been going to Meril for years & have never experienced service like I did last night. The waiters rarely came by our table. The wine pours were very small! It’s sad because the food was wonderful.

    My wife and I had a dinner reservation at Meril's. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and courteous. Chris and Kevin were our waiters and did an excellent job. We shared a fries snack and each had a flatbread and everything was awesome. Dessert was amazing also and got a special treat because we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I wish we lived closer so we could try more of their food.

    Loud, seating horrible , between two large tables , wait staff over worked because of seating conditions, not their fault, table not cleared of plates from appetizers when meal came , overall not good , food quality poor, use to love the place , won’t go back ! Loud and to many large tables

    We went to Meril for our last lunch in New Orleans. It's a must for us each trip. It was a quiet Monday and we had a great time. Started with the deviled eggs (trust me) and boudin balls. The fried chicken salad was amazing - it's a lightly breaded cutlet topped with an arugula salad and lemony vinaigrette. My sister got the summer salad with watermelon and feta - ate every bite. My husband ordered the octopus scampi - he loved it - I don't eat octopus but there were no leftovers.
