Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, Silver Trumpet is the perfect spot to enjoy any day of the week. However, for a truly unforgettable experience, we recommend stopping by during a Segerstrom Center performance or after work to take advantage of our Happy Hour and Late-Night Happy Hour specials, available from Monday to Friday. And if you're in the mood for a night out, our bar stays open until 1:00 am every Friday and Saturday, creating an energetic and lively atmosphere that's perfect for letting loose

Worst service - we had to ask for place settings twice. Food was actually ok but our waiter could care less. We did tip but only 10% It’s important to note that this was a restaurant t that is part of a Marriott hotel- had I known this I would not have come here. It was an anniversary dinner and we chose it because it was close to Segerstrom.

The table was perfect, the food was delicious and presented with flair, we had a leisurely dinner and were on time for the theatre! This restaurant is amazing!

Our dinner was delicious! We had the pre-fix and the salad, steak and desert was perfect. Also the old fashion and Chopin vodka hit the spot! We will be back soon because this is a new favorite!

The minute we walked into the restaurant, we were put off as the place reeked of fish. We asked the hostess if that was normal and she told us it could be a breeze from the nearby lake coming through the doors. We soon found out that that wasn’t the case as there were several people having fish that was very smelly. We ended up ordering the Seabass, which, thankfully, did not have a foul odor, but it was not good at all. It was salty beyond belief and it certainly was not enjoyable. This is the second or third time we’ve had a very mediocre experience at this restaurant. It is definitely convenient to the nearby theater however we won’t be coming here again.

Courteous reception, but seated us 20 minutes after our reservation, even though it was 90% empty. Joshua, who was bussing tables, was kind enough to ask which table we would prefer so that he could clean it first. Once seated with menus, another 25 minutes passed before we finally went to the reception desk to request that someone take our order. The manager came to apologize and took our order. Our salads arrived quickly, followed by our main courses, and then a waiter immediately brought over the dessert menu, pointing out which was his favorite. Not long after that, the check was dropped off with a reassurance that there was no rush. We were still eating our main course and hadn't even looked at the dessert menu! At that point, we decided to call it a night. Reading the previous OT reviews, I decided this was a routine experience at Silver Trumpet, and not just a bad night. What a shame, as it has the potential to be a very nice place to enjoy a quiet dinner.

While we have been to this restaurant before, this particular visit did not meet our expectations. The service was slow, and the kitchen was even slower. We needed to get to the theater for a show, hence the early reservations, but we barely made it, and only then after we asked the server to speed things along. We had been seated at the table for over an hour before our food arrived. The food this time was also not the best. My meal was under seasoned and frankly I could have made myself a better meal at home and saved the money. Definitely missed the mark this time.
