   First, the food was very good, however, the service was lacking. I had a reservation for 5:30pm and I called a few hours beforehand to ask if I could move it to 6pm and was told that was fine. We arrived at 5:45 and were promptly seated even though suddenly they couldn't find my reservation, which was on Open Table. Our order was taken about 10 minutes of being seated and we both ordered the Prix fixe. We told our server we were there for the show at 7:30 - probably most of the restaurant was there for the 7:30 show and I assume that's a pretty normal situation for this place. We had to ask for the wine menu. Our wine took about 15 minutes to arrive. Our first course/salads arrived around 6:25. Our main course arrived around 6:45. It was about 6:58 when we saw our server again who said our desserts/last course would be out in a few minutes. I had to ask for the check at that time and state we wouldn't have time for dessert. Had the service not been so slow and our server absent so much of the time we might have chanced dessert. But we still had to go to will-call for tickets and hit the loo before getting to our seats. The server offered to pack dessert up but it had been over 90 degrees that day and we didn't think it would fare well in the car. She also offered to let us come over after the show and have dessert which didn't really work with our plans. Anyway, I don't know if a couple of servers called out last minute or what, and I'm more inclined to blame management than the serving staff, but it was a frustrating experience.

   worse service at what is suppose to be a high end restaurant- admitted to being over booked and understaffed - bday dinner before concert huge disappointment

   We always enjoy coming here before any event at segerstrom center. The food is great, service is fantastic and the added bonus of free parking right across the street makes us even better.

   Very helpful and engaging server. Upon making a reservation, I was asked if it was for a special occasion, which it was. I was then asked for a request for special accommodations, which I made. No mention of the occasion or accommodations were made. I'm not sure why we're asked, if those acknowledgements weren't provided. Very nice evening though.

   Fabulous dinner before going to the theater. The decor is just beautiful and the staff amazing. My steak was prepared perfectly, and the halibut was amazing. We will be back soon. New favorite place!

   Conveniently located walking distance from Segerstrom Performing Arts Center. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Menu has good variety and food was fresh. It’s a little on the expensive side for the food and markup on wine is excessive. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

    My wife and I had dinner before a show, and it was just OK. My sea bass was perfectly cooked but very bland: it needed more flavor. My wife’s pork chop was tasty but they failed to put the sauce on the side as requested, and they didn’t bring a steak knife to cut it. Waitress was not particularly pleasant; seemed to be in a hurry. Our before-dinner drinks were very good. We planned to go back for dessert after the show, but we were told they don’t serve food after 10pm so we didn’t go back. Validated parking is plus, but given other options in the area, I’m not sure we’ll go back.
