The service was a bit slow but perhaps that was because we were outside. The wines that we tried were just okay but were too expensive for what they were!

We stopped here before a show and the location and ambiance was perfect for an evening at the theater. We sat on the outside patio which could be cold if not for the heaters and fire pit. Our server was new and was unable to answer questions on the drink or food menus. She and the host were very kind and friendly, though. The beet salad was delicious as was the focaccia bread. The shrimp share plate was overpriced and the risotto seemed to be just plain white rice-not great. Cocktails were just OK. We had martinis. All in all, I will be back again the next time we go to Segerstrom. You can’t beat the location! A very short walk to the theater. The restaurant validates parking so instead of paying $35, we paid nothing!

We drive 2 hours to attend performances at the Segerstrom Arts Center, always stay the night(frequently at the Ave of Arts Htl, and eat at the Silver Trumpet. Lovely location on a lake with indoor outdoor dining and wonderful, beautiful food. The Bacon Wrapped Dates are a favorite, and the Salmon or Filet are always perfect. You can make a meal of Small Plates, or just enjoy them in the bar with a cocktail. It is an easy walk to the theaters, and the Silver Trumpet will host your parking in the hotel garage. All good!

This restaurant is consistently good, and certainly convenient for attending any events at the Segerstrom. James, the manager, is extremely efficient and accommodating and the wait staff (Rebecca last night) extremely efficient.

Nice restaurant in a beautiful yet peaceful location. Not too many food options but every single one of them that we tried was amazing. So relaxing cause there is no live music in the middle of the week but we’d like to try it sometime on a weekend to experience the hype as well.

Second time dining here. Last night the food was better - maybe just the selections we made - but the service was quite slow. We waited 25 minutes from sitting down before we got our cocktails. We actually got our salads before our drinks. Asked for sparkling water, received still. We asked for lime with our water and we’re told they were out of limes and lemons… on a Saturday night at 6PM. The waitress said I’ll come back to take your order (for entrées) three times. Ordered another drink, never received it until a manager came over to see how everything was going - to be fair they gave us credit to make up for that. We actually had the same waitress when we went a couple months ago and she was just OK back then, tonight it was not great. They admitted they were shortstaffed, and while I can appreciate that as a human being, I’m still paying the same amount of money for the service/food. This was going to be our go to place before stage shows, but I probably won’t come back for a while.
