Never disappointed in the food or service. Imaginative menu. It’s a bit loud and can be uncomfortably close inside; but, this is part of its charm. Overall an extraordinary value and very conveniently located.

Everything was fabulous. Only complaint is the kitchen had difficulty with the surge of diners.
However, I would still recommend and plan to return.

We have been to Si Bon several times and we have always had a good meal. Everything on the menu is tasty. I like trying the different menu items as this chef is very creative. I highly recommend the steamed mussels in the lemon grass broth, the lobster salad with large chunks of lobster, lobster stuffed sole, sand dabs and the beef stroganoff. You can't go wrong at this restaurant.

We have enjoyed many dinners at this restaurant not so last night. We asked for water but it never arrived. Other tables that came after were served. We had to ask again then it arrived promptly. Our friend asked for salt for her appetizer that never arrived. We finally managed to get our waitress attention to ask again. By the time it finally arrived she was almost finished the dish. I ordered the special which was supposed to have a mushroom sauce nary a mushroom in sight. The same applied to my husbands beef stroganoff.
When my plate arrived it looked like the food had been thrown on it. The plating has been exemplary on previous occasions.
I have not hesitated to recommend this restaurant in the past not so now. Not sure when or even if we will be back.

Always wonderful. Would love to try the mushroom soup sometime but can not justify $12.00 for soup. Beef Stroganoff is excellent. Great service. One of our favorite restaurants.

Another delicious dinner!

The brussel sprout salad is always delicious! I loved the lobster filled sole. Portions are very generous. Cooked to perfection. A favorite for us.

Our meals were cold - I had a waffle with fruit and custard on top and every thing was cold. Only the plate was hot. My husband had a poached egg on corn beef hash. Also cold. I was disappointed as we went to the restaurant last winter and everything was good. I was at this restaurant last week and had the same experience. I thought that might be because it was the day before Christmas but had the same experience today

I had very conflicting experiences at Si Bon the last week of Dec, 2019, and my ratings are for just the indicated topics. Overall it averaged to 3 stars

I had noticed in October, before traveling to the Palm Springs area, that Si Bon served waterzooi, a creamy stew from Belgium, but it was only seafood waterzooi. One of us is violently allergic to clams/mussels and we did not want to go to the hospital emergency room, so I wrote to ask if chicken waterzooi, a common dish in Belgium, might be available. The management wrote back that they could easily make it; just make a reservation and note that we would like it, which I did. I reconfirmed a few days before my reservation. When we ordered, the waitress checked with the chef, and as promised, he prepared chicken waterzooi that was as good or better than any I had in Belgium! Even the creamy broth had to be prepared separately, because it ordinarily contained broth from clams and mussels. We really appreciated the extra effort made to accommodate the request. The other entrees ordered by the other 2 colleagues in our party were also excellent.

On the complete opposite side, the busboy spilled a full glass of water on me and my leather jacket when he was clearing our entree plates. I emphasize that I did not spill the glass; the busboy tipped the glass by the several plated that he was removing. All that was offered to me was an extra towel/napkin to soak up the water. I had to sit through dessert/coffee with soaked pants, and no one checked to see whether the leather jacket was OK. I would have at lest expected an apology from the manager, a follow up check to see if things were OK, and perhaps complimentary coffee.

My wife and I were blown away by our dinner at Si Bon. We enjoyed two Belgian draft beers that our server, Kelly, recommended to us. She patiently answered our questions about the menu and steered us toward two outstanding entrees, the tasty Boudin Sausage, which is made in-house, and the Short Ribs which melt in your mouth. The vegetables that accompanied the entrees, are well prepared, as are the Belgian Fries, which were the best I have had outside of Belgium. Kelly’s suggestions for dessert provided a fine ending to a most enjoyable meal. The Apple Tatin Waffle and the Stuffed Crepe Custard hit the spot.

One of my favorites in the valley. It most always good; however, once in a while it has been disappointing.
I like it the Chef often comes out of the kitchen and approaches tables....that is a nice touch.

We love this place. Great local spot with delicious European/Belgian food that you won't see anywhere else in the Coachella Valley. The service was great and prices reasonable. I'd suggest making a reservation during the busy season but off season it's usually pretty easy to get a table. We will absolutely be back many times to order the French Onion soup, beef stroganoff, meatloaf, and many other delicious items. It's a gem.

Dec.24th....Christmas Eve...dinner.

I was very disappointed in dinner as there was only a special dinner menu available that evening even though I went on line and the regular menu was featured.

Our table reserved almost three weeks in advance was not ready for another half hour so we sat in the bar waiting.
It was not an evening to remember.
