Our server was wonderful though I now do not remember his name. He greeted us warmly and gave good advice on choosing a bottle of wine, though I did wish that he’d given us better wine glasses than what was on the table.
The Caesar salad with a popcorn garnish was WONDERFUL and executed perfectly. It was a delightful surprise and I’m glad that we tried it. We also had a cheese plate with 3 Colorado cheeses.
For our main course, I had the fall gnocchi. It was pillowy and soft, and well made. I appreciate that the gnocchi was boiled and then pan seared, giving some of the pieces a crispy edge. My boyfriend’s chicken Marsala dinner was a huge disappointment, however. It was so unfortunate after such a lovely meal!
We got the chocolate cake to go for dessert, and it was very yummy
The service was excellent, but the food was a little disappointing Jim
Excellent service and delicious cuisine.
Family New Year’s Eve dinner was absolutely amazing. We ordered salads, entrees, bottles of wine, Desserts, coffee and port.
Always, Always a good experience! Service is always good and we've never been disappointed by the food!
We found that the food was fairly processed and not made to order. The salads in particular were very poor. I received just lettuce with vinaigrette dressing and no signs of other vegetables, nuts or cheese as promised for a whopping $7.00. The prime rib was good but super expensive. The pecan crusted trout was thickly coated with pecans to the point that the trout was obscured; the accompanying vegetables were very oily. On the whole the food was very unexceptional and expensive. On the other hard, the service was very good--paritcularly Max, our main server.
We were so impressed with our Christmas Eve dinner. Duck is only good if it's done right and it was DEFINITELY done right. It's now my 7 year old daughter's favorite. The smoked tomato chutney under the calamari was so unique and made the dish. The service was also great. Lovely way to spend our Christmas eve in a little town.
Calamari was delicious, pork chop was my 8yr olds favorite, gnocchi was amazing, and chicken Marsala was decadent. What could top it off? Cheese sampling for dessert, my 10 yr olds tastiest Gouda with bacon brittle.
The new culinary team is outstanding and really working to come up with some great taste-tempting treats. As always, the front-of-house team was attendant, not over-bearing, and we had a great experience.
It has been a while since we dined at Seasons, but the food was as good, or even better, than remembered. The spit-roasted chicken was fantastic. We will be back.
Seasons has really improved over the last year. The new chef is fantastic. Valen is the best server and always makes the evening great. So happy this place is back to being wonderful again.
Food was awful!
Excellent service and food preparation and wine list
Great food, very much a foodie experience with extremely knowledgeable staff. This is not your average restaurant, it's a food experience.
Great service, great food. New chef and menu enhancements have freshened up Seasons. Loved the Fall Harvest menu items. Jasper & Susie
The new fall menu is superb. Love the fresh ingredients and wonderful sauces. Ambiance is great, lighting is soft but not too dark. Fun
Lace for an intimate dinner.
Thank you Colton
Your suggestions were spot on
Been enjoying Seasons for many years- it’s always a great experience- I recommend it to all
It was a very nice evening with a couple of hiccups that were fixed when brought to the servers attention.
Food excellent except for the bread pudding which was cold, bland and stodgy
Seasons of Durango is typical for a tourist town. The menu has interesting items, but the execution was not so great. I had the gnocchi with salmon, and the gnocchi was good, but way too many cranberries that dominated the flavors. The salmon was overcooked and dry. My husband had a burger that he enjoyed, but the French fries were very dry. The wines by the glass had a nice selection, but they ran out of the one I liked.
Great food Great service Nice cozy restaurant for adults
Food excellent, especially the appetizer of peppers!
Our food was exceptional. Although service was excellent our waiter was a bit pretentious. Great wine selection and cheese platter too. Highly recommend.
I cant say enough good things about this place, we both love everything about it. From the amazing staff to the delicious food!
Reviewed other’s reviews. Our experience was fantastic. Sorry several others were so disappointed. Our experience started with perfect martinis. Followed by scrumptious appetizers and entrees. Service was perfect. We were in Durango for 5 nights and searched out the finest dining reviews we found on line. We dined at each and found Seasons of Durango to be our best experience.
Attractive and comfortable setting, wonderful food and beverage choices, and attentive and friendly service.
We were very disappointed with the lack of dishes available that were listed on the menu. Our server said it was due to “we’re changing to our fall menu next week”. No chicken breast, no peas and carrots, etc. the portions of what we ordered were small but not indicated as such on the menu. The menu is also limited on entrees even if not changing the menu. We have frequented Seasons through the years but obviously haven’t been in since these changes have been put in place. One table left after receiving water and we should have as well!
My husband and I ate at seasons of Durango for dinner on our first year wedding anniversary.
All the staff was amazing, but the waitress (I think her name was Stevie) went above and beyond. Not only did she help us with our gluten free options, but she was very energetic and kind without being overbearing. She needs a raise!
The food was magnificent, seasoned and cooked beautifully. Gordon Ramsay himself would be stunned.
Thank you, Seasons of Durango, for making our first anniversary so special! I’m sure we will be back!
Has to be my favorite restaurant in Durango. Easy to find- right on Main St., and very elegant, yet casual inside. The menu has something for everyone and the service is superb! I immediatly spilled my martini and had another one coming in about 5 minutes. Stevie, our waittress, was adorable, professional, fun and accomodating. Loved our dinner there and will be back as soon as possible!
thank you! we will honor Stee-v at the next employee meeting. We look forward to serving you again!
Wonderful evening as always! The lamb was delicious!
Delicious and very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend..like the fact that they use local ingredients
The food was terrible. Salmon undercooked and greasy. The rib eye was cooked correctly but the meat cut was so fatty it was not edible.
Outstanding meal and experience. Our server Katie, was a treat, very pro and super smart. Just a great time and amazing food and we had fun!!!
This was our second dinner at seasons in the last month. The first time was outstanding, this last time very good. The second time the service was not quite as attentive. My rotisserie chicken was very good but a bit dry. We will certainly be back.
New chef is killing it. The rotisserie chicken au jus plus sugar snap peas and carrots was incredibly prepared. Season’s offers incredible wine at affordable prices. I’ve been all over the US, and find it hard to believe there’s a better restaurant out there.
We were seated on time next to the open kitchen which was nice but contributed a little to getting overly warm later in the meal. To be fair, it was a warm day for Durango at 86 degrees. The marinated olives starter was good but I prefer them oven roasted with is a favorite choice at another restaurant.
The wine list had several specials for $20 a bottle. We chose a Root: 1 red which was nice and were able to take the half full bottle with us after the meal.
My wife had the wedge salad and a chunk of my Ribeye. The steak was perfectly medium rare and the accompaniment of mashed potatoes was delicious. However, the green beans side was a bit too crunchy for our taste....could have used a bit more blanching.
The bread was delicious and the experience was satisfying especially after a long day of walking around town. The Labor Day crowd was enhanced by a Harley Davidson bikers group and a parade earlier in the day. We had wanted to try the train but unfortunately did not have reservations as we had for dinner so missed out on that adventure. Making plans for a return later this month.
Once again, excellent service. Locally-sourced produce, very tasty food.
As usual, service, food and wine were great. The Ono fish special was particularly good. The half chicken was as good as ever.
The food was excellent however is was spoiled by TERRIBLE service. It started right when we arrived and no one greeted us and then when they did they took us to 3 different tables before they let us sit down. Long wait for a waiter. Ordered wine, waited forever. Meal finally arrived. We asked for more bread. That never arrived. What was excellent food was ruined by very bad service.
