For the price of my meal, I expected better food and service
Great first time in Durango
Visited your place with a retired two Michelin star chef from belgium. He truly loved the quality of the food and the excellent Jordan Cabernet wine we drank.
Been here many times and always have been pleased with the service and food. Seats are hard wooden chairs without cushions unless you get a booth or half booth, so be sure to ask for a booth when you make your reservation.
Great dinner and great service by Val.
As always......great! Food superb and the waiter cracked at my silly jokes.
We hadn't been to Season's in about 2 years, which is weird because we used to go there frequently. The head chef left a few years ago, and we knew that Season's hired a chef from Eolus.....anyway we went there this past week and the food was awesome! I had chicken, my wife had the special fish dish which was Australian Sea Bass......she said it was terrific and the friends with us enjoyed their entrees quite a bit. We plan to return to Seasons soon!
Everything was delicious!
Perfect from the moment we walked in the door. Professional waitresss, knew just when to stop by and was attentive yet non intrusive. Knew exactly how to please all her tables keeping in order their requests. She was perfect. We had small plates, salmon and baked chicken respectively, both were superb. Didn't really need dessert but could not resist. We ate the night before at a competitor and thought that was the best until we tried Seasons. This is now our favorite. Thanks for making us feel special.
Nice place to have dinner, with nicely prepared food and friendly staff. I would go there again.
Ambience is great - a combination of sophisticated and old world. Restaurant been around for a couple of decades. Wine list was superb. Good attention to detail in the menu offerings and preparation. Service was friendly without being invasive. Value for experience is very good.
Great food and service
Seasons is our go-to place for special occasions or for a fun night out to dinner. We have gone as a family of 4 with teens, a couples' date, or just the two of us. Never have we been disappointed. Season may have some regular items on the menu, but I believe much of it varies and I have never been disappointed. This last visit, for our anniversary, was no different. Our reserved seat was ready for us upon our timely arrival. Our waiter was the perfect blend of attentiveness and service. I ordered the Fettuccini expecting the typical overdone over-sauced over-cheesed meal. It was far from it. Rather, the meal consisted of homemade noodles in a very light broth with basil and a sprinkling of cheese - yummy! Their wine list is extensive, but they also have a large selection of fair wines, 20 of them to choose from for $20! Regardless if it is a special occasion or if you are visiting from out of town, Seasons should be at the top of you list for a pleasant dining experience and a delicious meal.
Excellent food and service. The menu has a nice mix of hearty and lighter fare and smaller and larger portions. Outstanding pasta, meats and fish and vegetables. Lots of locally sourced food and creative and highly skilled cooking. Food was prepared to bring out the flavors of the very fresh ingredients. The wine list is extensive and our server was very knowledgeable. My only gripe is that the computer was programmed to charge $10 extra per bottle of wine. I'm sure that it was an error but it's an easy way to make an extra few dollars and many patrons won't notice.
Started off OK. Service got progressively worse. Could not make eye contact with the waiter. They were seriousky understaffed . Had to ask anyone we cod make eye contact with for water refills. Had to ask for a desert menu after plates sat on our table for 15 minutes. Was not asked if we wanted anything for desert. Had to beg someone to get the check for us. We spent the last 40 minutes in the restaurant asking people to get things for us as we could not get the waiters attention to save our lives. Perhaps the worst service I have had in a really, really long time. Not what I expected based on reviews.
Host was reluctant to honor simple seating preferences. Despite having reservations, we were treated as walk-in guests. Food was sub par and well overpriced. Overall disappointment. Plenty of other locations in Durango less expensive and more impressive.
Amazing experience! They texted us perfect directions on how to get there and when we arrived, we had to give them the secret code in order to dine! Code found in daily newspaper. Excellent service, great cocktails and even better food! Great addition to telluride!
8/14/18 We were on vacation and found the Season of Durango on open table. Food was awesome! Drinks enjoyable. Great choice!
Wonderful food, locally sourced. We have eaten both lunch and dinner in the past. Never disappointed.
Great place to meet friends or enjoy as a memorable place to top off your Durango visit
My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner. The waiter, Sven, helped us with our dietary restrictions and was very attentive.
Ordered a cocktail before dinner-they’re out of it.
Ordered the salmon entree-they’re out of it.
It’s 7:00 on a Friday- don’t understand how a restaurant can go into a weekend night and not have enough of entree item to make it to 7:00. The kitchen has to know all day, and maybe even the night before, they’re running low - figure it out.
If you want people to come to your place, you should have the things people want. Go to the liquor store, go to the grocery store - solve the problem instead of just offering apologies. There ARE other options for giving our money to restaurants
Good dinner in Durango. Clearly one of the higher end places in Durango and all the plates were tasty, creative and well prepared. Service was prompt and friendly. Solid place to get a high quality meal and wine. Nice wine list.
Set ina lively neighborhood, very good food & service plus live entertainment! Loved it.
After good meals at Seasons we were surprised how the food quality declined at our last visit. I ordered the Steak and Frites which I loved last summer. Wednesday night, however, I could barely chew the steak. It was properly medium rare, but more like rubber tire (a strong one) than edible meat. We did still love the cheese board as an appetizer, bit down hill from there.
We’ve been here several times and we’ll be back, but on this visit I was disappointed with my food. The rest of the table was happy, but my steak was dry, overdone and chewy. Our server, Katie, was excellent and could tell I was not happy and got me a new steak that was just the same as the first. The frites were good! Not her fault. Seemed like the kitchen just was off for steak prep that night. Katie is a star though and with servers like her, you just can’t be unhappy for too long.
I read about this restaurant in Wine Spectator magazine. I checked it out as we were going to be vacationing in Durango. We visited twice. The first time was dinner just my wife and I. The next day we came back with the family for lunch. Both times the owner greeted us with a warm smile and open arms. The food was the best, for adults and children. The service was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a great meal and of course a glass of wine.
The menu was impressive and the meal excellent. The service was especially good
Great menu and food was excellent. The wine list stunned me for a town this. Our waitress was personable and professional. Impressive place. I would go back anytime and recommend it to anyone going through Dorango.
Another great meal at Seasons. It’s a go-to for us with out-of-town guests because they always exceed expectations.
Very poor quality food and cocktails for the price.
Nice neighborhood place. Food was good, service was friendly. Lighting was a bit too bright.
Our waiter is usually very good, but he really had an off night. It kind of ruined our dinner date. Very poor service. Food was as expected, excellent, but the service was not. Still my favorite restaurant in town, just hope for better service next time.
We went on the Welcome (Visitor) Center's high recommendation. We we very disappointed with the lack of flavor of the dishes, especially the fresh vegetable pasta. Server Katie was excellent. We probably will not go back.
Phenomenal. Celebrating wedding anniversary. Perfect steak. Perfect sides. Perfect wine. Service was exceptional. Owner came by and chatted with us.
We can't wait to go back!
Very good seasonal fresh food. Have been each time we visit Durango. Will be back!
Good food and great waitress named Kelly. The fish was perfect.
The ambiance is lovely, but the food tend to fall a bit short of expectations for one of the higher priced restaurants in Durango.
