I love this restaurant. It has a nice downtown vibe without having to go downtown and the view is beautiful. Service is always great and the food is always delicious.
Love being on the river and eating good food. Scott’s is our go to place.
Our salad was not as fresh as expected, it seems that the lettuce were at the plate getting warm .
Thank you very much for the bootle of wine we received because of our wedding anniversary !!!
I wouldn't consider this "fine" dining. The food was good but not fine dining for the price, definitely not fine dining qualify. The service was... meh. I could get the same service at Applebees. The host asked if we were celebrating an occasion we said yes (don't know why we weren't congratulated and the information wasn't mentioned again) As we were seated we were told we have 2 hours, WOW really tacky. The waitress didn't welcome us just introduced herself didn't ask if we had any questions about the menu, didn't offer any appetizers. It was 5:15 pm so it wasn't busy.
The roasted chicken and risotto were near perfect. The margarita was odd. Very sour. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the river and each other's company. Will definitely dine at Scott's again.
My bread plate given to me was very dirty. The food was bland and tasted like cafeteria style. Sorry as it has such potential. The outside area is pretty but the chairs are too low for the tables. Wiser Matt was so so nice!! Good service. Maybe add light music outside?
Good food good service
Waitress wasn’t very friendly and not attentive.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff and great food. And its on the river, so it has a great view. Even if you wanted to just stop by for appetizers and wine, it would be worth it. But call ahead, as lots of folks are loving this place and you want to be sure you reserve a table. Cheers
Love Scott’s! Food and ambiance is always great!!
Great ahi entree. Perfectly prepared! Served by knowledgeable waiter.
Our table servers were all outstanding! We were seated immediately.
Best Benedict's anywhere, great food, good prices, will definitely return
This was our first visit back to Scott's post pandemic. They have added partitions between tables to help minimize the spread of the virus. The mood in the restaurant was electrifying. Everyone was so happy to be out and the server was upbeat and helpful. Some things have improved. Our cocktails were excellent. In the past they have been inconsistent and had more mix than alcohol. Not this time. The balance was perfect and each drink tasted the same. The food still leaves a little to be desired. Our salad with feta and strawberries was excellent. The fish and chips were not as good. The batter was overcooked and tasted of the grease it was cooked in. Dessert, a chocolate tort?, was excellent. I look forward to going back.
Portions seemed smaller, but otherwise excellent all around!
The food was fantastic.
The food just want good there. I've been there three times and haven't like anything yet.
For a seafood restaurant the fish should be outstanding and it just isn't. Other locations it is decent but not this one.
Our pre-Mother’s Day luncheon was delightful. The staff was courteous and attentive, the food was yummy, and the outside patio was beautiful on the sunny day we went.
Nice location on the river. Food was so so as was the service. Would go maybe once a year for happy hour (but not dinner) because it is less than 2 miles away.
The host was truly amazing. A black woman greeted us and informed us about the menu and happy hour. She made sure someone brought us an umbrella outside. I will definitely return next week. Those drinks were amazing.
It was very nice being able to sit inside again. My mother and I had the crab salad and it was very good. The menu didn’t say that the lettuce was served as a wedge though. But we enjoyed them and the French bread was excellent. We also had a cream brûlée and the berry cobbler for dessert. Very yummy.
Great service! Very attentive and the food was delicious.
Great lunch on patio with friends. Excellent service. Always enjoy the food at Scott's! Great place to dine.
Great as always! Love Scott’s. Beautiful river view and good food.
inside restaurant dark/old looking/not kept up...overly priced but very good food.
Enjoyed a sunset evening on the lovely patio at Scott's. Our meals (shrimp and grits, and skirt steak) were nicely prepared. Service was friendly but they seemed stretched thin. Seems like all the reopened restaurants are trying to hire and train new staff right now, so I'm sure this is temporary. Just be aware that although the restaurant is on the river, you can't actually see it from your patio table due to plantings.
Server (Jon) was attentive but not hovering. Food was simply divine - crab cakes best anywhere, scallops like velvet. Only things not quite perfect were indoor temperature (pretty stuffy and warm) and noise level. We would definitely recommend Scott's - and plan to celebrate all of our special occasions there!
Our Wait person was wonderful and celebrated my wife's Birthday with us.
Our first visit back in over a year (Covid). Excellent service, great food. We went for brunch to celebrate our anniversary: I had the shrimp and grits (the third time I've eaten this at Scott's; always excellent) and my husband had the crab and avocado omlette.
In the past, we've eaten both brunch and dinner at Scott's and have always had a great experience.
Always a great view and delicious food. Hope bar seating opens soon for those that do not want a full sit down meal experience.
We sat outside and that was great a nice view. The service was excellent. The food was so so. My Crab Louie was pretty average. I asked for dressing on the side but it came drenched. There was very little in it besides lettuce. Not what you would expect for 25. Drinks were good.
Loved it! Great food, great service, the ambience is incredible on the patio.
Great atmosphere, nice river view, exceptional food & service.
It was a very relaxing breakfast with a great view!!
Perfect place to celebrate any . Scotts can handle whatever you need and service was outstanding.
Scott’s always makes our celebrations very special and memorable.
The food and service were excellent. However, it was 85 degrees outside and we chose indoor seating because of the heat. Unfortunately, they did not have their air conditioning on so the place was sweltering hot. It was quite miserable and uncomfortable. I am not sure I would go back for this reason despite the delicious food.
The Air Conditioner did NOT work, the dining room was uncomfortable. The staff did not communicate to us the Air Conditioner was broken.
Enjoyed lunch on the patio. Service was attentive. Drinks from the bar were a great variety. Definitely going back soon.
I chose Scott's for lunch for the view of the Sacramento River from the patio. But it turns out they have let roses grow up entirely blocking the view. Disappointing. The food was okay but certainly nothing special. I had a crab salad, which was mostly a giant head of iceberg lettuce. My friend had a mahi-mahi sandwich which she said was good. We had a berry cobbler for dessert with cooked berries, but there really wasn't any cobbler on top
The best part was our waitress, who was very nice and attentive. We appreciated her a lot.
Also, I was using a cane after hip surgery, and could not find any handicap parking in the main lot. They said there was some out front but there were no signs indicating that. There was one handicap slot in the lower parking lots but it was covered with construction equipment.
