Homemade ricotta cheese dumplings served with tomato or marinara sauce
Service was slow and seemed annoyed he had to wait on us.
Food was amazing! The service was fantastic, our wa8ter was very attentive and personable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out.
Eight friends and I from out of state chose Sabatino's for a long awaited reunion dinner while we were all in Baltimore, and enjoyed a wonderful evening here. The service was warm and attentive throughout the evening. We started out with an assortment of appetizers - mussels, clams casino and calamari - with their terrific bread, and then enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We were in a smaller room making it very homey, and admired the ambiance and warm decor. Our appreciation to the waitstaff and to Reneto and special thanks to Lisa.
Old style Italian food—lots of red sauce. Lots. But the sauce is a very good one—not too thick with a fresh, tomato taste. Servings range from adequate to ample. Service is casual but courteous, attentive and efficient. This type of food is not my favorite, but it sure is good to have now and then. I would definitely go here again.
If you’re looking for really old school Italian (basic) it’s fine. Portions ok (some a bit small) shrimp & mussels were over cooked (2 separate dinners), decor definitely seen better days.
Wonderful waitress, food was excellent. The restaurant was very busy but everything was great. Great to see the restaurant is doing well. One of our favorite places.
Classic Italian that continues to earn its well deserved reputation.
We drove an hour to enjoy a bookmaker salad. It was wonderful as always. Portions are very generous, dinner was delicious and always tastes home made.
Special consideration was given for handicapped member of our party.
We love this place and hope to return soon.
We brought in 3 clients (author's) for a conference and were looking for a nice sit down restaurant for a relaxing dinner after working all day.
Our waitress "Peachy" did a fantastic job and we enjoyed hearing that she is also an author.
The food was amazing!! The wine...even better.
We highly recommend Sabatino's!
Waitress was not very attentive, perhaps she had too many patrons.
We recently moved from Maryland to Arizona. We couldn’t wait to come home and enjoy all our long time favorites. Sabatino’s did not disappoint! The food was amazing. I love the consistency of this restaurant. The sauce is delicious and the bookmaker salad is to die for! Honestly, I could drink that homemade dressing! Our waitress was Peach and She is as authentic as Little Italy. We enjoyed her as much as the meal.
I haven't been to Sabs in over a decade and missed it. Now, I know I do not need to return for awhile. While the waitress made sure our dishes came out quickly, they were less than flavorful, my grilled chicken in my pasta tasted "off," there is no other word to describe it, and both dishes did not have much of a taste. The waitress was nowhere to be found, leaving us wanting drink refills and needing to pay, with the bill being taken care of incorrectly. All in all, while I love to support small businesses and Little Italy, I will think twice before coming back to Sabs again soon.
Excellent food and service. Ask for Peachy...Excellent server!
All time favorite in Little Italy.
Lasagna had sour ricotta cheese in it. Staff didn’t seem to care. Slow service
Food is bland, covered in cheese. Service was quick but not attentive. Too 40 music playing does not fit. Only went there because La Scala was booked. No comparison.
Iv been going to Sabatino’s for 40 years. Love it. Total comfort food that is great with a well trained staff and very good prices.
Sabatino's never disappoints, great atmosphere, awesome service and the food speaks for itself.
Sabatino’s is a classic Baltimore restaurant with classic Italian food. The house salad was our starter with Sabatino’s own special dressing, delicious. For entrees we had veal parmigiana and veal francaise. Both entrees were well-plated and satisfying. Service was gracious and attentive.
Went for Maryland restaurant week 2021.
Food was good.
The service was outstanding very quick very good.
Took a long time for our waiter to assist us. I believe it was a mix up initially but I determined he just was not attentive enough. When he did come around he was nice and respectful. But getting our order from the time we sat took extremely too long and other people who came in after us got handle by other wait staff first. Food was average. Nothing special or interesting about it. I didnt taste "passion" in the food but it wasnt horrible by any means. Could somethings been better? Ummm probably more options and add more uniqueness to the dishes. I had sausage and sweet peppers as one of my dishes. That is exactly what it was, standard Italian sausage and an open flamed bell pepper cut up. No unique spices oils or nothing. Very plain.
Great service! Great food!
Always good. Great food. So glad to be able to go back
I received exceptional service. Everything was good. Really enjoyed the experience.
Intimate, family-oriented environment. The service was great, the value for our lunch specials was amazing, and our drinks were delicious. Thank you!
Good cocktail. Food really poor
Amazing Pastas and Sauces. Traditional and Inspired Creative Recipes, expertly prepared. Terrific Salads and House Dressing. Great Service. Best Spaghetti or House Made Fettuccine anywhere. Very nice cocktails and wines - house wines by the carafe, or by the bottle from the list. Everything Reasonably Priced. Friendly and Efficient Staff. Cannoli and Coffee, and Cheesecake for a classic traditional finish, or Ice Cream for the kiddies big or small. Casually Elegant Ambiance!
This was our first time at Sabatino's and we had a truly wonderful experience! We were there to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was beautiful! We had a terrific server who could not possibly have been nicer! The food was incredible! There was so much that we had to take some home. Our server even surprised me with a piece of Birthday Cake! We can't wait to go back there!
Food was dated and taste was ok. Service was very good.
Sabatino’s never disappoints! Our family favorite for special occasions!
It was delicious! Be portions were huge. Staff was very nice and friendly, and welcoming.
We always have a great experience at Sabatinos. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The service is great! They are very attentive and so nice!
It was okay, kind of outdated. Good food!
Sabatino's is our favorite restaurant in little italy. The food is always delicious and the service is exceptional. Thank you for a great dining experience with our family!
Only complaint is the hours being posted incorrectly online and on the restaurant. Got there at 8:30 and told it closes at 9, even though online says 10.
The food was shockingly mediocre. The caprese salad had hot house tomatoes and what appeared to be processed mozzarella. Bland and disappointing.
The lasagna was brick of too much ricotta slathered in an abundance of tasteless red sauce.
I won’t be returning.
My husband and I visited Sabatino’s for a date night, and we could not have been more disappointed with the food. The wait staff was good but not exceptional. However the food was not good. We ordered a Caesar salad with anchovy and a Bookmaker salad. The Caesar was fair, but did not come with anchovy as requested. After asking again, it was brought when 1/2 finished with salad. The bookmaker salad was very large in size (and we ordered the small one) and plentiful with the meats and cheeses and olives. But the flavor was off and the entire salad was gritty like there was sand in it. For our main course, we had one lasagna and one fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, both using the homemade pasta. The quality of the pasta is superb! Best part of the entire meal. The lasagna was a large portion, but only fair in flavor and not much meat. The Alfredo sauce was flavorless, and shrimp were over cooked, so much so that we could only eat a couple bites of it.
In summary, the wait staff was good, the portions were large, the home made pasta was exceptional, but the flavor and quality of all the other ingredients and sauces of the meal were less than acceptable. Will not be returning.
The food was fantastic. Our waitress was nice but we felt very rushed by her. Like she was trying to get us out of the table. That was the only downfall of our visit.
Good food and atmosphere, waitress quit checking on us after she brought us our appetizer
