Homemade ricotta cheese dumplings served with tomato or marinara sauce
Intimate, family-oriented environment. The service was great, the value for our lunch specials was amazing, and our drinks were delicious. Thank you!
Good cocktail. Food really poor
Amazing Pastas and Sauces. Traditional and Inspired Creative Recipes, expertly prepared. Terrific Salads and House Dressing. Great Service. Best Spaghetti or House Made Fettuccine anywhere. Very nice cocktails and wines - house wines by the carafe, or by the bottle from the list. Everything Reasonably Priced. Friendly and Efficient Staff. Cannoli and Coffee, and Cheesecake for a classic traditional finish, or Ice Cream for the kiddies big or small. Casually Elegant Ambiance!
This was our first time at Sabatino's and we had a truly wonderful experience! We were there to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was beautiful! We had a terrific server who could not possibly have been nicer! The food was incredible! There was so much that we had to take some home. Our server even surprised me with a piece of Birthday Cake! We can't wait to go back there!
Food was dated and taste was ok. Service was very good.
Sabatino’s never disappoints! Our family favorite for special occasions!
It was delicious! Be portions were huge. Staff was very nice and friendly, and welcoming.
We always have a great experience at Sabatinos. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The service is great! They are very attentive and so nice!
It was okay, kind of outdated. Good food!
Sabatino's is our favorite restaurant in little italy. The food is always delicious and the service is exceptional. Thank you for a great dining experience with our family!
Only complaint is the hours being posted incorrectly online and on the restaurant. Got there at 8:30 and told it closes at 9, even though online says 10.
The food was shockingly mediocre. The caprese salad had hot house tomatoes and what appeared to be processed mozzarella. Bland and disappointing.
The lasagna was brick of too much ricotta slathered in an abundance of tasteless red sauce.
I won’t be returning.
My husband and I visited Sabatino’s for a date night, and we could not have been more disappointed with the food. The wait staff was good but not exceptional. However the food was not good. We ordered a Caesar salad with anchovy and a Bookmaker salad. The Caesar was fair, but did not come with anchovy as requested. After asking again, it was brought when 1/2 finished with salad. The bookmaker salad was very large in size (and we ordered the small one) and plentiful with the meats and cheeses and olives. But the flavor was off and the entire salad was gritty like there was sand in it. For our main course, we had one lasagna and one fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, both using the homemade pasta. The quality of the pasta is superb! Best part of the entire meal. The lasagna was a large portion, but only fair in flavor and not much meat. The Alfredo sauce was flavorless, and shrimp were over cooked, so much so that we could only eat a couple bites of it.
In summary, the wait staff was good, the portions were large, the home made pasta was exceptional, but the flavor and quality of all the other ingredients and sauces of the meal were less than acceptable. Will not be returning.
The food was fantastic. Our waitress was nice but we felt very rushed by her. Like she was trying to get us out of the table. That was the only downfall of our visit.
Good food and atmosphere, waitress quit checking on us after she brought us our appetizer
For being in little Italy you would expect real Italian food. The lasagna was cold and felt like it was microwaved. The bread was cold, and it is only good if you like your food slathered in cheese and sauce. Foodies don’t go here.
Not what it used to be. Rude, resentful staff. Wine arrived half way through entrees. Food was mediocre at best. Sorry. Been going for 40 years. After a two year break, I’m done.
Ps, none of special occasion requests in online reservation even acknowledged.
Two items came out plainly wrong, including steak Italiana coming as plan broiled strip.
Only concern felt like management wanted us to hurry to order and get out
This place is always awesome. Best Italian place in town.
We have been going to Sabatino's for many years and it never disappoints! The staff is very welcoming, the food is delicious and priced appropriately. This was a special evening, our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we spent it at our special place!
I was visiting baltimore for the weekend with my boyfriend and last minute made a reservation here. The waiter was very nice however the restaurant is very old and set up kind of strange. They did a good job with social distance and the food was just okay. Your meal comes with either salad OR pasta. It was a very different Italian dining experience.
Excellent food and service as usual. Look forward to dining there again in the future
One of the best restaurants you will ever experience. A Baltimore tradition.
Garlic bread is the best thing on the menu !! So good.
Staff was also very helpful and friendly with their recommendations. Will definitely be back.
food was not very good. the white wine sauce was thickened with cornstarch
We had the sweetest young man as our server. He was so efficient and had a wonderful personality. We enjoyed ourselves and the food there very much. We will definitely be back when we are back in Baltimore 😁
fantastic everything!!! One entree was better than the other!!!! Cannot wait to go back!!
This place is fantastic! It has a very family feel and the staff is lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going again.
Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. Its such a warm family and the neighborhood is so nice. Plenty of food options to choses from and desserts also. We always enjoy Sabatinos!
Very outdated establishment. Food was not the best quality.
Wait staff was good. Definitely not worth the prices they charge.
Great food and service. Quaint location rich in Little Italy history.
Sabatino's is a delight. The service was outstanding, the room was warm and cozy and the food delicious. Their signature salad was full of healthy items and topped off by the amazing Sabatino's salad dressing. The entrees were all served steaming hot and very sizable portions. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced and Sabatino's Italian bread and garlic bread are not to be missed. All in all, a delightful evening. We were all too full from dinner to try the desserts unfortunately.
Outstanding service and food! My daughter and I both had seafood dishes. I had the Frutti Di Mare and she had the Mussels Posillipo. I give five stars to both. We also shared the Bookmaker's salad for an appetizer. The homemade dressing really makes an already great salad. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Italian in Baltimore. We'll definitely be back!
Great food. Friendly, fast and accommodating service staff.
The gnocchi and bread were awesome. Staff were very attentive.
Been dining here my entire life. Delicious food, great service & recommendations by Anthony.
Excellent food! The homemade pasta was exceptional.
Worst meal in Baltimore
Over the last year my husband and I have been trying to support our local businesses and it saddens me to say that I am not only sorry we supported Sabatino's but also angry with Sabatino's for calling themselves "Italian" at all.
Upon arrival they have a small sign on a table asking patrons to fill out a form for contact tracing. Absolutely no one to greet us, meet us, or ask us in person. Contact tracing is absolutely fine, however, anyone who has been to the real Italy will tell you they are always welcome as if it were their own home. We stood around in a hallway waiting for someone to even notice us. We were finally noticed and we sat at a small table by a window in a socially distant room facing the street.
Our waiter was kind, however, clearly overwhelmed and not trained at all. We ordered appetizers along with our prosecco splits and the appetizers never arrived. The next thing we see is our dinners arriving at the table.
Dinner entrees arrived immediately and were horrible to say the least. I ordered the tortellini in tortellini sauce. There is not an eatery in the entire country of Italy that would believe what I was served was fresh tortellini. I received a mashed up, over cooked, unflavored bowl of pasta. Absolutely awful. I took two bites to be polite and that was it. My husband ordered a veal dish which was "ok" but quite tasteless. Bread was brought to the table but no where in Italy would they call what we received fresh bread.
We kept looking around the room and felt an absolute sense of not caring and having no pride. I have no idea who owns Sabatino's but it is evident to me that that person/s have never ever been to Italy. The curtains on all of the windows are absolutely filthy, so many of the light bulbs in the sconces are burned out, and 1/2 of the sconces are bent out of shape and facing the wrong way. The carpet in the dining rooms is disgusting. Restaurants should never ever have carpeting in the dining room.
Sabs in one of our all time favorites. My only issue is with the miniature water glasses. Need 1) bigger glasses (we requested never came), 2) bottles of water on the table so you can refill yourselves, or 3) someone designated going around refilling water. Love the food but dislike having to constantly ask for refills...probably about 6 times needed a refill during our meal, and server too busy.
