Main course (shrimp, tilapia, pasta) was excellent. Minestrone was more akin to American vegetable soup. Service was quick and friendly (a bit absent-minded).
We always have a good time at Sabatino's! They treat us like family - even on a busy Saturday evening. Hubs had the ravioli + meatballs - his personal fav. I had manicotti which was heavenly. We're all about the sauce & they never disappoint. The waitstaff is also wonderful. We were last there on Dec 31st for a pre-NYE lunch and the waiter remembered us - very nice.
Long live Vince & our favorite Italian restaurant!
The food was mediocre at best. Meatballs were bland, vodka sauce had an odd taste (cinnamon? Nutmeg?) and manicotti was uncooked. The restaurant is billed as Old School but really it is just tired.
Everything was amazing! Richard was knowledgeable and friendly! Excellent!!!
Friendly attentive staff with food that is reasonably priced.
Returning for too many times to count. We had a wonderful lunch after our graduation event. 3 of us had the broiled gnocchi which has become one of my favorites and only.place I will order gnocchi. Bookmaker salad always a hit. Waitress was so nice and funny too.
Always a great meal. Service outstanding! A must when in Little Italy.
Fabulous meal Great experience. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.
Restaurant was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area 7-8 years ago. Said there was no better Italian in Little Italy.
Decore is dated and needs work. There was a light fixture next to our table being held together with Scotch tape.
Food was sub par. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer with our drink order. Waiter brought it out with our drinks not 5 min later. Tells me that they had it precooked and sitting around in the kitchen to fill orders.
Ordered the veal picatta for the main course. Sauce was beyond bland. No seasoning at all. Veal was in multiple pieces. All were tough and gristley. I had to use my knife to cut most of it.
Opted not to push our luck with desert.
We have been coming to Sabatino's for over 35 years when we are in Baltimore. We have tried other restaurants in Little Italy, and they go up and down in terms of cuisine and service, but Sabatino's is always reliable.
Renato runs a first class traditional Italian family restaurant. Food is excellent (baked gnocchi is to die for) and service is as well. Been coming here for twenty years and never disappointed.
With family from out of town!
Relatively inexpensive, neighborhood feel restaurant in Little Italy. Food and service is consistently good. Would recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food at reasonable prices.
Classic food with a home cooked feel. Great cocktails. Warm staff.
A special Mother's Day treat. The Bookmakers salad was great. My husband said the chicken parm was delicious. The waiter was very attentive and efficient. Too pricey to be a regular.
The service and ambience were great. The food was good but not great. Eggplant parmesan available only with veal, which was battered and fried and not especially tasty.
Usually I write Sab’s an excellent review. This time the food was “off”... There were 5 of us in our party. We were seated right away and great normal atmosphere. 2 ordered Baked Gnocchi (Cheese overcooked on top). 2 ordered Calamari Marinara over spaghetti(Calamari over cooked and not cooked in the marinara) , and 1Shrimp Renata(Shrimp over cooked and warm not hot). All of us had salad w/house dressing(which was as delicious as usual)
We did not complain or send back as we figured it was a bad day and our food is usually excellent.
Our Waitress was excellent! Very pleasant and attentive! Tartofu and tiramisu was excellent for dessert. We will go back and hopefully it will be a better day for chef
The food was awful for the price. My fiancé ordered a meal that included lobster and he said it tasted as though it was frozen and just thawed out. It was really disappointing since it was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day dinner.
Yummy food, great service, reasonable prices!
Mother’s Day was spectacular. I love Sabs!
All the food we ordered tasted bland. Tomato sauce had no flavor and was watery. Felt like we were eating school cafeteria food.
Authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of little Italy!! Fairly priced and great portions! Can’t wait to go back!
My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is always great, the staff very pleasant, and the cost very reasonable.
Great authentic Italian meal
Excellent dinner experience. They are always able to handle my family's allergies. Food is always fresh and wonderful!!
Our server, Peachy, was so nice--very attentive and friendly, brought us everything quickly (we told her we needed to be done in about an hour and a quarter) but not rushed...terrific!
I hadn't been in many years and it's just as I remembered. Great food at a classic Baltimore Little Italy eatery!
Traditional Italian spot
Service good, very attentive and helpful
Pricing typical for the area
Food very good
My shrimp diavalo ok
Her tortilini excellent
Portion sizes moderate
House salad dressing is upcharge and worth it
From the time we walked in the door, we knew we had made the right choice.
It was GREAT as always - love the food. Enjoyed the cleanliness of the restaurant and promptness of the staff and getting seated quickly. Highly recommend.
The service was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was good, nothing spectacular except the garlic bread (it was delicious!) My husband said his meal was lacking some flavor, but not flavorless.
Great service and awesome food.
I felt that the food was not worth the price as I have eaten better Italian food for far less elsewhere. It was not a fancy ambiance that would require upping the prices either. The waiter was great and attentive, and I did enjoy the calamari. I strongly disliked the house dressing, but my partner loved it, so I think it may just be a hit or miss sort of thing.
Excellent!! TIna did an excellent job serving us. Would highly recommend.
Was pretty good. Nice ambience, our waiter was new, needed a little education of menu.
The food is awesome. Baked Rigatoni is delicious
Always great food and wonderful staff. Looking forward to our next visit.
Good varied menu, large portions, delicious bread! Staff was super attentive without being intrusive. We had a wheelchair and they were so accommodating making sure she was safe and taken care of. Cute restaurant definitely in keeping with Little Italy theme! Would definitely recommend!
We always love coming to Sabatino’s! Been dining there for years
