Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, Pierre's Restaurant is set amidst a glorious, palm-lined beach overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers and a thatched forest. The two-story exterior resembles the old colonial style residences found in West Africa, but its interior reflects different cultures from around the world. Pierre's offers fine dining on the second floor. Guests may enjoy meals indoors, or on the balcony-accompanied by Islamorada's spectacular sunsets and tropical views. The Green Flash Lounge serves guests on the main floor and the downstairs veranda. Outdoor seating is first come, first served and not available to be reserved.

Went on a slow night so not a lot of atmosphere. Menu is on the shorter side but everything we ate was really great. Would recommend.

Long before there was a boardwalk, friends Alonzo Cothron & Berlin Felton’s original establishment was a fish house. Boats would pull up right outside and throw the fish straight in!
We’ve changed a little since then, but the most important thing remains the same - guests can still kick back and experience the freshest, locally caught seafood in one hand, a cold beverage in the other, soak in the view, and watch the world go by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Alonso’s. Our server Anna recommended the special oysters which hubs thoroughly enjoyed, then he had the lobster sliders which he said were delicious and big! I enjoyed the shrimp salad - 6 large grilled skewered pink shrimp on a bed of mixed greens with pepperoncini, black olives, tomato and roasted peppers with an olive oil vinaigrette- Greek style but no feta - enough for 4 small salads! We are definitely coming back! Thank you!

The Café is conceived to evoke the feel of a beach café where the Hawaiian and Californian surfers and sailboarders would relax after a day on the water. As such, its walls are adorned with surfboards, longboards, sail and kite boards, as well as many original 60’s surf posters.

The table seating is spread out along the sandy waterfront. Wait staff highly trained and happy. This place is much more polished then some other establishments nearby. Highly recommend for sunset viewing and good menu options.
