Such a charming place and lived up to the photos. Wonderful vegetarian and vegan options. Absolutely delicious too - all three of us enjoyed our selections. And the waitress, Brianna, was so helpful!

The service and the food were superior in every way. The 'catch of the day' dish was so delicately flavourful, with all ingredients contributing to an excellent taste experience. Service was very friendly and helpful when asked for help with the menu. The desserts were also very refined with unique combinations for interesting and delicious flavours. We plan on coming back many times and bringing new friends with us! Thank you!

My aunt who's vegetarian was visiting Toronto so we decided to try Planta. Food is delicious and non-vegetarians will not go hungry. Only comment is that waitstaff sort of disappeared. We had a lovely evening enjoying the company at our table but the restaurant would have sold at least another round of drinks had they checked in on us after they served the food.

This is my second visit to El Pocho and I am even more impressed with the total dining experience offered at this local hotspot than I was the first time. Every single dish my table of 6 sampled was so delicious, so beautiful, so perfectly proportioned. Our favourite is the fish tacos and the fried chicken…can’t remember their spanish names, and this time I had the ceviche ...OH MAN are those good! And the cocktails…the lychee margarita! One thing my daughter notes is that the music is appropriate to the Mexican food, and not too loud, which is really important for us as we love to visit during dinner. Considering how busy they were on a Wednesday night the service was super fast. The amazing thing that no one talks about is that El Pocha is a 100% Gluten Free restaurant…right down to the bar. My daughter can order absolutely anything here just based on what sounds good, not on what might be safe. It’s all safe! Well done El Pocho.

Food & drinks were incredibly delicious! Amazing service, music on point, with a chill ambiance. Clean restaurant! 4 dishes shared between two - good-sized portions. We were both satisfied. Definitely recommend their sun-kissed margarita! A few dishes aren't best bang for your buck, but overall well priced!

Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.
