We've been to Il Ponte a few times now, and have enjoyed it everytime. Always a great selection of amazing meals. The service is the best. Always attentive and ensuring that your experience is top notch. We usually go early before it gets really busy. But that's just us. Either way, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is pleasant. Cheers.

The Local Cafe and Restaurant was created to offer experiential learning opportunities for our students. The Local is located at Centennial College, Progress Campus. At The Local, the hospitality, culinary and baking students learn in the restaurant as part of their embedded courses as well as their field placement's under the direction of our Faculty, Chef and Restaurant Technicians.

They dont have enough waiters, and the two they do have one of them is constantly staring without paying any attention to the table e.g he was looking at us but whenever we needed to get his attention he made himself unavailable multiple times, dirty cutleries weren’t replaced, another drink wasn't offered after my first beer was done. Also it was my wife’s birthday, and there wasn’t anything offered or mentioned about it, which was kinda upsetting, specially for the price you pay for dinner there.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.
