At Yukashi, we offer an intimate dining experience rooted in the traditions of Japanese kaiseki. Led by Chef Daisuke Izutsu, each meal features a meticulously prepared 9-course seasonal tasting menu, showcasing premium ingredients from Japan and Canada. Optional beverage pairing is available.

Our menu changes regularly with the seasons and highlights delicate flavours, refined technique, and thoughtful presentation. We offer tasting menu only—no à la carte options are available.

Guests may choose from counter seating for an immersive experience, or table seating for a more private setting. Please book accordingly, as seating types may not be changed on the day of your visit.

Reservations are required. We encourage you to book early to secure your preferred seating.

Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items including a kaiseki plate, soup,
selection of seasonal nigiri and dessert. . An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Any further tipping or gratuity is not expected. We look forward to hosting you!

There was a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. The food was beautifully plated and the ingredients, drawn from all over the world, was very fresh. We ordered a 10 pc sashimi plate and 2 uni temaki as appetizers to share between 2 people. Entrees were the scallop and the black cod, which were both well executed. Black cod was an interesting deconstructed nod to the classic miso marinated cod where the miso was added to the polenta underneath.

Fantastic dinner! Tried lots of new dishes and loved them all. Service was excellent. (Thanks to Bessie🥰.) We were on the patio which is a fun place to people watch- right on King West. Perfect for a pre concert dinner. Japanese inspired cocktails were great.
