Best buffalo burger I’ve ever had. Added American cheese, caramelized onions and jalapeños for additional flavor. Service was great.

Another outstanding meal at the Harvester! If Michelin came to South Dakota, this place would get one or two stars for sure. Each of the courses was delicious, with unique ingredients complemented by fabulous sauces and the wine pairings complemented them all nicely. We had the "Jersey Shore Menu" which provided just the right amount of food for us, with a concentration on seafood. The larger summer menu looked excellent too, but we did not think we could eat so much! Congratulations to Chef Brian and his team. The best restaurant in South Dakota for sure.

Steakhouse
Sioux Falls
About the restaurant
Situated in beautiful historic downtown Sioux Falls: surround yourself with century old quartzite and brick walls, funky & energetic ambiance, tempting & flavorful dishes, innovative cocktails and an extensive wine & beer list. Take notice of our namesake as you are stepping over the threshold, the original 1963 Crawford's logo is still there.

The decor unabashedly integrates masculine and feminine: wild west meets gypsy...from the cowhide paneled bar, quartzite bar top, iron railroad track footrest and reclaimed wood tables to the vintage tiles, jeweled wallpaper, Moroccan chandeliers and antique Indian columns ...no detail is left untouched. The same holds true for the food: from your prime cut of steak to the wild-caught salmon, every element is carefully considered.

Excellent dinner and cocktail menu, full bar, 58" LED TVs and fireplace.

I have always had fantastic experiences at Parker's, and I generally pick this location for special occasions. I love their rotating menu, particularly since they tend to cater to gluten sensitivities without sacrificing flavor or quality. While the current menu was not the best example of what they offer, we had a great meal and I will definitely be back. I will say that some appetizers are more shareable than others, so I recommend checking with your server when ordering - they always know the menu very well. While the appetizers came rather quickly, we found ourselves hungry right away and other restaurants tend to include something small to start. Parker's delivers at their price point, and some bread early on might be a nice touch for them to consider in future menus. We did have to request a dessert menu, which I thought was a little odd. The presentation was fantastic as always, and the flavors of each course was top notch along with the temperature and quality of the food. Pictured is my dessert choice: grilled peach posset with pecan, maple gastrique, and cashew cream - delightful.

Our server Mason was amazing! Best lemon drop martini I’ve had. The food was also top notch. I had the Korean short ribs and the butternut squash crème brûlée… to die for! We didn’t love that there were slot machines about 15 feet away and you could hear everything going on in the casino, but the food and service made up for it!

We enjoyed our first experience at Cascata. The overall experience was offset only by menu pricing for the "Duroc" Pork Chop. While I understand the sourcing process for this product, I'm thinking Duroc is to Pork what Waygu is to Beef, it seems a bit of stretch to charge $38 for this entree. The pricing may be due in part to the location within the "Canopy" hotel and a high travel & entertainment clientele. The pork chop, while ample, wasn't any better than "normal" more moderately priced chops found elsewhere in this market. That said, our server was top notch. The two appetizers ordered were ample and delicious (Focaccia plate and Caprese Salad). The wine list is okay and could be expanded. It seemed cool in the restaurant but assuming this was because of rather humid conditions outside. A halibut entree was also ordered. Halibut is halibut. Nothing exceptional about this dish.
