There are various rooms, all air-conditioned, where you can hold business meetings or private celebrations. The capacity of the Restaurant is for 250 people. It is open almost every day of the year from 12 noon to 6 pm, and with reservation you can serve groups for dinner or breakfast.

The squash blossom dish was full of flavor and pairing with black paste seasoning was very flavorful, the salad with almond cheese and tomatoes was very good, the cheese had a good flavor sometimes vegan cheeses taste plastic this did not, the suckling pig was roasted perfectly little crunchy on top but meat so tender you can cut off with a spoon, juicy, my husband said the risotto with venison was best risotto he has ever had in his life, you can taste citrus, cheese, and tender venison- the meal was excellent.

Epic dinner at Picheta last evening. Owen was an excellent waiter. Very attentive. The food was extraordinary—tuna toast, grilled cauliflower, shrimp fettuccine, shrimp tikin xic. Dessert was chocolate fudge cake and cappuccinos. So so so good! A great value for the quality of food, beautiful ambiance and incredible service.

First time in the new restaurant behind Huniik, this is a different concept but with the same attention to detail in service, food and ambience. It was the best experience I have had, not just in Merida but in the US & Europe. The food is Yucatan influenced, not simply elevated but taken in a different direction; deliciously comforting and easy on the wallet. Shout to the best martini in town, too. Can’t wait to go back.

Designed by the famous chef Roberto Solis and his partner chef Manuel Balan, Jayu is an exclusive Japanese food restaurant with Yucatecan touches, hence the name JA for Japan, YU for Yucatan.
The concept is a 10-seat bar in which interaction is created between the chefs and the diner.
We have 3 menus.
-Nigiris menu.
-Short omakase.
-Long omakase.
We do not share any menu as it changes constantly, as we depend on daily supplies for its preparation, which consists of fish, seafood, meat and poultry.
