Our new favorite sushi spot in Merida. Everything we ordered was meticulously prepared and served, and the combinations were super unique and creative. It’s not cheap, but absolutely worth it

Designed by renowned Chef Roberto Solis and his partner, Chef Manuel Balan, Jayu is an exclusive Japanese restaurant with Yucatecan touches, inspired by the union of two great cuisines.
We have only 10 locations, creating a dynamic interaction between chefs and diners.
**We do not share a menu as it changes constantly, relying on daily ingredients for its preparation. It consists of fish, seafood, red meat, pork, and poultry.**

What a fun way to enjoy the evening! This little secret spot ignites your curiosity as you try to find it (good luck!). Our chef was so lovely, animated and passionate about the dishes he was serving us. Every dish was packed with flavor and attention. Certainly worth the price. Highly recommend for a date night or just a great night out. Our favorite dish was the Robalo Ceviche - I am still dreaming about it!

It was really good. The quality of the ingredients is top tier, but service is quite slow and many items in the menu are not available. Still, food is amazing, ambiance is nice, would definitely come back, especially for the toro nigiris.

Had a lovely experience at La Barra. The service was impeccable! Everyone is so attentive and emphasize attention to detail throughout the entire experience. The concept is so fun! Every single dish that came out was delicious. I highly recommend getting the 6 option menu and sharing with your partner or friend so you can taste the full menu.

El Lagarto de Oro is a very good spot. Chill & welcoming vibe, friendly service (Thank You Carol), good beer list, and a delicious menu. We enjoyed their Salpicon de Chicarra con Pulpo a la Longaniza.
