We love happy hour at the bar. The bar manager goes above and beyond to ensure a top shelf experience whether food, drink, values available and overall comfort. And his drinks are so fine.

Kenichi never disappoints. Greentail and Blake rolls are phenomenal. Music ambiance is loud and repetitive. But service and food are great!

About the restaurant
MAKfam is walk-in restaurant. Don't see any availability? Come on in, we look forward to serving you!

Limited reservations are offered via the OpenTable Visa Dining Collection Program.

MAKfam is a love letter to the owners' Chinese American roots, both having been raised by immigrant families who worked in restaurants. It began as a pop-up in NYC & NJ, then evolved as a stall in a Denver food hall. MAKfam is now an elevated counter-service restaurant in the Baker neighborhood serving award-winning Chinese food, natural wines, & craft cocktails. Crab Rangoons & hand-folded chicken & chive potstickers are inspired by Chinatown favorites, made with particular care & big flavor. Chicken wings with tingly málà seasoning & corned beef fried rice offer a familiar-yet inventive take on classics.

MAKfam is a 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand winner & Chef Kenneth Wan is the Semi Finalist in the 2024 Emerging Chef category of the James Beard Foundation.

It lived up to all the press. Best wings ever. The signature salted egg French toast was perfect for dessert for a 4:00 meal. We liked everything about it. Easy parking, excellent service, ambience, and fun and delicious food. I will look forward to my next visit.

I thought their new style sushi dishes were very good, the dumplings, except for the soup dumplings were so so. Soup dumplings were excellent. The service was outstanding. It was a little expensive, but it’s Aspen, but even for Aspen, it’s a little too expensive.
