We’ve been coming here for 20+ years, and it is absolutely wonderful every visit. We honestly marvel at how consistently delicious the food is, how consistently on-point the service is, and how every time we finish a meal at Sam’s we are completely satisfied. Highly recommend.

Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.

The second floor of the restaurant is available for private parties of 15-65. Please call for details. Smaller parties up to 18 people can be accommodated downstairs as well as larger parties up to 150.

We had a large group (10) for a birthday celebration that evening and we were thrilled with our service. Joe and Rachel were absolutely amazing and of course the food was superb as always. We especially loved the appetizers and desserts! Can't wait for next time!

I’ve gone to plenty of fine dining places in Stl this by far as been the top 1 on my list the server was great the food was cooked to perfection I like a well done steak a lot of restaurants do not cook them correctly man 10/10 experience I had a great time thanks to my server also ! It is pricey but worth it !

My wife and I dined here for our 27th anniversary, and we were not disappointed! We experienced their 5-course menu and enjoyed selecting different dishes to sample a wide range of what the chef had to offer. Standout favorites were the watermelon gazpacho, the lobster cake, the halibut, and the elk. They also have an excellent menu of mixed drinks, themed after song titles, that are tasty. Overall, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend it for a great night out or a special occasion.
