La Plazuela was the hotel’s original 1920s patio and it retains that sunlit Old World charm. Skylights flood the dining room with natural light and handsome carved furnishings, artisanal lighting, and our much-loved hand painted windows create a beautiful, inviting room to gather, to dine and to make memories in. The menu was crafted to showcase old favorites with New World influences and authentic New Mexican cuisine. La Plazuela at La Fonda on the Plaza is Santa Fe’s gathering place. Come dine with us!

It is such a treat to go to a restaurant that is both lovely and quiet.... and eat delicious food. Chef Cristina Martinez is a Taos treasure. Her creativity, thoughtful flavor profiles, and beautiful presentations are truly outstanding. Don't miss her unique and delicious green chile cheddar biscuit or the scrumptious blackened- prickly pear glazed salmon!

Wonderful Mexican restaurant, specializing in Oaxacan cuisine. They offered my 2 of my favorite dishes: enchiladas suizas, and relleno nogada, which you don't often find. All 4 of us ordered different dishes and everyone was happy. Excellent service and value. Highest priced entree is $25. Dessert flan was perfect too. Large cocktail and beer menu. Highly recommended. Location is one block from parking garage, and downstairs.

The open table app said there were no open reservations for 6pm on June 30. The restaurant was mostly empty with lots of open seats. Not sure why.

I think the 'Bourbon Grill' is under new management which has made a difference for the better. Hadn't been there for about 3 years because our last meal there was AWFUL! Still remember the place when it was the 'Steaksmith' which would rate a 5 out of 5 everytime!! They're getting closer to Steaksmith quality but not quite there yet so they get a 4 out of 5 because it was MUCH better than the last time we ate there.
