Another great meal at Wolfetrap. This isn’t fine dining, but it’s a top notch neighbourhood eatery. Lobster was excellent and swordfish was cooked to perfection. Efficient and friendly service.

Over the years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy in search of new ideas, recipes, and great wines to bring back to Three Tomatoes. The source of inspiration continues to be the simple, fresh, healthy and local foods of Trattoria style cooking. Eating in a Trattoria in Italy is like eating with an Italian family. The mood can be relaxed or boisterous, but always friendly. It is a home away from home and a gathering place for friends. I have tried to capture the warmth of the trattoria kitchen with its open fire, the aroma of simmering sauces, roasted meats, grilled fish and pizza baking in our custom built wood fired oven. Our newly revised wine list has been enhanced by selections of distinction and value inspired by attending Vinitaly, Slow Food's Terra Madre and visiting vineyards throughout Italy, Sicily and Sardinia. Three Tomatoes has captured some of the spirit that makes wine, food, and conviviality such an important part of trattoria life.

Unfortunately in New Hampshire as in other states there is a lack of Service people. They were so busy on aOct, 14, that they did not have a hostess. When we were finally addresses, I sad we had a reservation for 1Pm. She basically said so what. I love this restraint. Made me sad!

Brought my father-in-law from Sweden to visit. He said the food was sooo good. Liz was very attentive and timely. My FIL said, quote: “Now that is good service. I don’t even have to ask to have my water refilled.” Mushroom toast was bomb. Lamac pizzas and poke bowl were bomb. Well done Americus staff. 👏🏻

The food was delicious. There was some confusion about being able to sit outside with our dog. It turned out that dogs are not allowed on the patio, but there is a take-out spot where you can sit outside with your dog.
