I am not sure why it took us so long to try this place out! Food was amazing - very tasty and fresh. Service was wonderful - our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. We had their house made lemonade and it was sweet (mild) and refreshing. Definitely would like to go back!

The food excellent and delicious. I tried their Il Piccolo Menu, which is the 4 course prix fix menu. I enjoyed it and got to try some different dishes than I usually order. The service was very attentive. We always enjoy dining at Allora.

We made the two-hour drive to Sacramento specifically to celebrate our anniversary at The Firehouse, and it was worth every mile. The online reservation process was easy, and I appreciated the confirmation via text. While parking in Old Sac can be a bit challenging, after a couple of loops around the block, we found a spot right across the street from the restaurant. The service was exceptional! Our waiter, Nick, not only explained the menu thoroughly but also offered off-menu items. As soon as he mentioned a 10oz Bison steak, I was sold! I prefer my steaks blue, and the chef nailed it with a perfect sear. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. While the drinks are on the pricier side, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The ambiance feels like a step back in time to old San Francisco, adding to the charm. We’ll definitely be making the drive again in the future—this place is a gem!
