Chef/Owner Angelo Micheli uses fresh ingredients from our very own garden which enhances the farm to fork flavors of Italy. Juicy filet & rib eye steaks, seasonal seafood dishes and home made pastas are prepared just to your liking.

Join us on Monday nights for our family friendly, casual Pasta Night (limited menu). Wednesday nights we offer a made to order Prime Rib dinner that will melt in your mouth. We do offer limited seating on our front patio for smaller parties.

We had a very nice 2 spot table next to the fireplace. All servers and bussers were very attentive. We each had the Calamari Lemonata which was wonderful--2 very large pieces each, breaded in Panko they fried perfectly to a light crisp. This is our favorite dish here.

Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)
For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. Cancellations made before the 72-hour time period will be refunded 50% of total cost per person + tax.

Reduction in the number of guests in the party are subject to cancellation charge.
Please be on time to enjoy all the courses. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Omakase means a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef.
Chef will create some courses with seasonal, and best available ingredients.

Beautiful experience. Every detail down to the lighting is well thought out and executed. It is as much an education in sushi preparation and Japanese culinary arts as it is a meal. The staff are all so hospitable. The food is incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Mattone is a hidden gem on Folsom near Corti Brothers market, cooking the best Italian-inspired cuisine in Sacramento and serving it flawlessly. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about food and wine pairings, helpful with menu suggestions, and never overbearing. The dining room is comfortable and casual, the bar is lively and the drinks are top notch. We have been here several times, lunch and dinner, as well as special occasions. It has always been a satisfying and pleasant experience, without exception.
