Totally FABULOUS! We ate here twice and loved everything that we tried. Must haves are the Hamachi Aguaquilla and the Hearts of Palm Salad... best I have ever had. The live music on Thursday night was terrific and the noise from a couple of boisterous parties barely disturbed our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend eating here!

Spago is one of my Maui favorites! The beautiful setting paired with the delicious meal easily make it one of the best restaurants on island. That being said, I would not recommend the radicchio salad - it was unbalanced and not as tasty. I would recommend a switch up. All the other dishes were yummy. We did ask for our dessert to be split on separate plates and the waiter commented that the dessert was plated in a bowl (the bananas foster banana bread dessert) and when it came out it could have been clearly plated on two plates easily. The waiter also told us “this is my Friday so I’m just trying to get out of here” - it’s not what you want to hear at a fine dining experience.

The service and the food was excellent. A little pricier than what we usually like to spend but we made this our splurge meal. There was live music which was pleasant and not too loud.

About the restaurant
Mānalo Lounge – meaning ‘sweet water’ in Hawaiian, celebrates Hawaii’s diverse mix of cultures that have influenced the area’s cuisine. Inspired by Oahu’s natural resources - where the fresh water of the mountains harmoniously merges with the salt water of the ocean, thus creating a sweet water, the cuisine pays homage to the mix of cultures found here, as well as throughout Asia and across the greater Pacific. Akin to the saying, 'Ae Kai - to bring together the land and sea to serve as a gathering place, Mānalo Lounge serves as a welcoming intersection to gather with family and friends for dinner, in a contemporary, yet casual setting at the water’s edge.

Server Gwen was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. Our Steak was requested Medium Rear and was more on the wel done. Her reaction was excellent and asked if we wanted to send it back. Regardless the meal was excellent, and we enjoyed our visit. The Ahi Ceasar Salad and Watermelon Salads a Must.

What a pleasant surprise! We had not been to the Westin for years but Hale Mo’olelo looked interesting. It was great! Their Mai Tai’s were very tasty, and the shrimp tacos were delicious! Add the beautiful surroundings and the fire pit and it was the perfect dinner!
