The open kitchen allows guests to observe the preparation of courses, while the choice “Chef’s Counter” features four exclusive seats where guests can interact with the chef throughout their meal. Located in Paia, Maui, we invite you to dine in our intimate, all Chef's Table dining room. Our everchanging Market Driven Menus always include a glass of sparkling wine, are Prix-Fixe, between 6-9 courses and range from $200-$300 per person plus tax, gratuity and any additional alcohol.

I’ve been to many restaurants of this sort over the years. This one in particular rates high in my list. The husband and wife duo put a personal touch to the experience. The food was also excellent. I’m excited to try it again next time I visit the area.

One of the best tempura omakase we've had. The staff mentioned the chefs previously worked at Tempura Endo and Tempura Matsui and their craftsmanship definitely showed in every bite. The ambiance was lovely and the service was exceptional - attentive, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We have 3 Omakase seatings daily... 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Any allergies will need to be noted prior to the reservation date, so a special menu can be prepared. (We cannot accommodate the guest with all shellfish allergy, vegetarian, Kosher, gluten intolerance, or if you do not like uni)

Diners must cancel their reservation 48 hours in advance or will be subject to $75 fee, or $100 if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours. If you do not show up, the fee will be full price of the course.

I took my friend she’s 91 years old and use walker. When I made a reservation I requested that easy access for her and enough space to put hr walker. She got there before me and they provided her the table by the door also was four seats table instead two. I was so happy that they saw my request on booking note. Foods were excellent as usual never disappointed me. Also my friend was so happy about service and food too. We will return soon.

We are never disappointed when we go to Kalapawai Market Cafe. The food and service is fabulous. One of our favorite spots. They have two different specials, Kai & Aina. But we love to also just do appetizers.
