We are locals and Four Seasons dining is usually for special occasions. We had a wonderful meal at Beach Tree, again. This time it was for Father’s Day. Our server, Tyger, was full of personality and attentiveness.

The Copper Bar is always on our agenda on the Big Island. Beautiful views and live music/ hula dancer. Very good service, just enough attention without being intrusive or feeling rushed. My husband and I shared the KFC, more than enough for two. We each had a flatbread pizza,Cochon and Mushroom. Very very good. Shared the Malasadas for dessert, perfect ending. Drinks can be very expensive but it’s not your run of the mill restaurant. Finish your evening at Manta Point and watch the gentle giants gliding around. Park with the concierge, the restaurant will validate your parking. This is a perfect evening in Hawaii. They do not do a Happy Hour.

Live music, an ocean view, amazing service and mouthwatering dishes - Honu's is my new favorite restaurant for dinner in Kona! I have dined here twice for dinner and several times for breakfast. Dinner: I love the ambiance of the live music, fire pits and tiki torches. The restaurant is right by the beach and offers a beautiful view of Kamakahonu - a historical landmark and King Kamehameha the Great's final home. We tried the crispy snapper, braised ribs and chicken pasta - they were all amazing! The price point here is amazing too, I was surprised to see dinner dishes here less expensive than other Kona restaurants that lack ambiance and don't even have an ocean view. The portions are HUGE. I had the dessert for the month of May - Surinam Cherry Cobbler - It was the perfect balance of sweetness and tart. I wish it was on the menu all year! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! Breakfast: They have an affordable all you can eat breakfast buffet around $25 which again - is a better deal than other restaurants in Kona. There is also an Ala-carte menu with a savory loco moko and my fave - the kalua pork eggs Benedict. YUMMMM

Simply the best the service, the food the extra details. We brought our 2 Grandchildren and our waitress wen t the extra mile to make sure they got a delicious meal. They cleaned their plates and loved the soufflé at the end. Once again ROYS proves to be above all our other dining experiences on the big Island, delivering gourmet cooked Asian fusion dishes made to perfection!!!

I think the price is wayyyy too high for this buffet. Don’t get me wrong the food was ono but the people that are in charge of refilling the desserts and stuff weren’t doing that. Hardly get any desserts to choose from. Sweet potato haupia pie, banana lumpia, butter mochi, cream filled pate a choux, and ice cream. What happened to the cakes and pies? What happened to all the other toppings for the ice cream? Only had sprinkles, caramel, chocolate and some kind of cherry thing. No peanuts, no Mac nuts, no Oreo crumbs….I remember the buffets were cheaper than this and the dessert variety was plentiful. Man that was disappointing. Our waitress wahine she was nice. Always checking on us, overall I felt for $79 the spread could’ve been more than what it was. Plus, WSW should invest in the better crab leg cracker. It would make deshelling the meat much easier for kids. The rest was amazing. Good taste is number one alongside service. A++++ on those two. Mahalo!!
