We are locals and Four Seasons dining is usually for special occasions. We had a wonderful meal at Beach Tree, again. This time it was for Father’s Day. Our server, Tyger, was full of personality and attentiveness.

Best dinner, by far, we had on the island. The espresso martini with salted foam was a stand out, as was the fried rice and waygu beef. The service (Dion-bravo!) was THE BEST!

The Copper Bar is always on our agenda on the Big Island. Beautiful views and live music/ hula dancer. Very good service, just enough attention without being intrusive or feeling rushed. My husband and I shared the KFC, more than enough for two. We each had a flatbread pizza,Cochon and Mushroom. Very very good. Shared the Malasadas for dessert, perfect ending. Drinks can be very expensive but it’s not your run of the mill restaurant. Finish your evening at Manta Point and watch the gentle giants gliding around. Park with the concierge, the restaurant will validate your parking. This is a perfect evening in Hawaii. They do not do a Happy Hour.

Worth the hype! Our server, Kirth, went above and beyond and made our experience at Merriman’s memorable. Food was stellar. Will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in Kona. Highly recommend!
