Schöner und passender könnte man sich den Rahmen für die Kreationen von Küchenmeister Bernhard Kampmann kaum denken: ein schmuckes Fachwerkhaus aus dem Jahr 1492, mit urigen Balken, einem großen verglasten Deelentor, kuschelige Nischen im ehemaligen Pferdestall oder auf der Galerie, dem einstigen Heuboden.
Eine Atmosphäre wie gemacht für die betont feine westfälische Küche mit der sich der Schlichte Hof zu einer der renommiertesten Adressen der Stadt entwickelt hat. Sowohl die erlesene Küche als auch das liebevoll gestaltete Ambiente des Schlichte Hofs sind Feinschmeckern aus nah und fern in den vergangenen Jahren keineswegs verborgen geblieben. Dabei genießen Liebhaber des Traditionsrestaurants dessen gute Küche auch in den eigenen vier Wänden. Der Catering-Service des Hauses bekocht und bewirtet private Gesellschaften auf Wunsch mit der ganzen Finesse und dem Können der Küchencrew des Schlichte Hofs.

Took a customer for dinner - fantastic experience. Our waiter, Nicola, made excellent suggestions and everything from appetizers to limoncello were outstanding. This will be a go to restaurant when in Dusseldorf.

We went specifically for the Flammekuechen. We had 2 of bacon& leeks, 1 chorizo and one apple & cinnamon. All were very tasty. Big sizes and very nice to share. Restaurant is also traditional and nicely decorated.
