Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35

We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks.
Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials.

Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash.

Overnight stop in Chester and what a treat to dine at The Chef’s Table. The tasting menu was creatively conceived and expertly executed; wine pairing perfected this flavor extravaganza as the service team brought kitchen to table. This was simply dining pleasure from beginning to end!

Our restaurant is housed in the beautiful Grade II listed building formerly known as the Old Post Office, on King Street in Knutsford. Richard Harding Watt influenced the town’s architecture by delivering a little piece of Italy for everyone to appreciate, up and down King Street, notably in the design of the memorial tower overlooking Giovanni’s.

We went as a party of 3 for a friends birthday and they were very thoughtful in making the birthday girl feel special and generally were very attentive and we didn't feel rushed at all. We had fish dishes and everything was fresh and cooked beautifully and we enjoyed the starters and dessert too as well as the cocktails of course! I'd recommend having side dishes with the mains which can bump up the overall price but would definitely go again as really enjoyed the meal and service.
