The staff, food, drinks everything was wonderful. Everything we were given to eat was home made and super delicious, especially the lavender cake i tried it was so tasty . All of the lovely ladies that served us today too made the experience here top notch, so polite and kind to us. It was my dad’s father’s day treat and he’s very picky with afternoon tea, but this was “perfect” ( his words) . Thankyou to all the staff at Dormouse Haven for an amazing time !!

Really enjoyed the visit. Staff were very good Food was excellent Would have been nice to maybe have sml complementary bread to table while we enjoyed superb cocktails.

My Husband and I booked a table at Shrub Chester ~ this was our first visit. We were celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary. We received a beautiful card at our table. We were warmly welcomed and wonderfully attended to by Charlotte. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and she was fantastic at helping me make food and drink choices. She truly is a credit to Shrub. The food was delicious, the vibe was chilled and it was a very special evening for us. Thank you to everyone at Shrub ☆☆☆☆☆

As the name suggests, Moules a go-go is famous for its mussels, fresh from the shores of Anglesey, served in a variety of ways from simple Moules Marinieres to Korean. The vast selection of seafood dishes ranging from traditional fish and chips to scrumptious Sea Bass is impressive, though equally appealing are the locally sourced juicy steaks . After 17 successful years in business amongst tough competition, Moules a go-go is still going strong, boasting superb food and a great atmosphere in contemporary yet comfortable surroundings. The head chef and manager have been there since the restaurant’s inception; such longevity is a rare blessing in the tempestuous world of the steaming kitchen, but this dedication shows in the consistency and quality of the food and service. Moules a go-go is a real find in the heart of Chester's history.

We went on a quiet Tuesday evening, but the service was excellent and very attentive. We had starters and the 2-4-1 mussel pot offer - the food was delicious and we will definitely visit again.

Bryan Webb as a guest chef was amazing! We had a wonderful experience tasting a number of delicious dishes from English asparagus, langousties to scallops, finishing with a delightful cherry soup. Wines were expertly recommended by the lovely Becky. One of our best meals for a while!

First time here.Very attentive and friendly service the quality of the food was excellent dining early evening the restaurant was very pleasant. This was an anniversary celebration meal and it did not disappoint we would come again.
